Mini Weed Plant

Ok while playing around on this site i saw several pictures of miniature budding plants. It sounds stupid but I am fascinated by this, and i would like to know how this was done. Are they genetic mutants or was something done to make them grow like that???

probably just like mint smelling weed and fruitloop smelling weed or like a mini lemon tree it is a special type or hybrid.

I see It is possibly a clone that was put directly into the 12/12 cycle I wana try!! it would be a good desktop plant!!:hump:

this baby is about 17 or 18 inches tall ,, i had her on 18 / 6 lighting until she was 5 inches tall then i switched her to 12/12 lighting... she grew to about 18 inches tall ,, if u flower early they will stay small ,, if i would of let her stay in the vegg stage until she way 3 feet tall ,, by the end of flowering with the 12/12 lights she would of been about 5 or 6 feet tall ,, .. so if u want a small plant flower her early ,, this is for indoor grows only ,, unless u want to force flower them outside which is hard cause u need to be at the plant at the same exact time everyday to cover them up so they * THINK* its night time ,, its not cool doin that unless thay are right in ur backyard

WTF are you talking about.....?

I think he is referring to clones that someone forced to flower, thus making one tiny bud..... on maybe even the Shot Glass grow contest? nothing to do with Hybrids of what ever your talking about....

Check out the Shot Glass grow contest and you can see how people took a clone and forced it to flower, keeping it very small (cause it had no veg time) using light cycles to force flowering....... there are no genetics involved, its also call Bonsai

men my plants are like 1feet and a half maybe at top.. and i dont think they will grow to 3 feet in flowering
and everything is going reall fine
i really think puttin a clone or plant only 5 inch tall in flowering is a waste
my mature 1 feet and a half tall plant was all ready to flower
had already preflowers
and is getting big nuggets by the time we speak
so anything that need to be done
is to have the bushiest plant ever
the smallest possible... but not the youngest
that the difference
anyway
that was my thought xD

to answer your question about how they grow.


well,they are trained to grow small. with smaller containers and lower wattage lighting.

pruning techniques are also applied for additioanl topiary styling.

its all about the art patience and skills of a fun filled hobby,that i can never get enough of while illegal or not.

Like they say...early flower = small plant.

But not ALWAYS true. Some plants just geneticly will never get bigger. Like my cheslea. Everytime she gets past 5-6 nodes, her bottom leaves die. Never gets to her 7th node. So i just gave up after a while. I thought I did something wrong. I did eVERytniG less light, more light, less water, more water, less nutes, more nutes...and way more...

do you think I could grow 2 small plants together in a 5 gallon pot without the roots tangling? or could I just find something smaller but then Im scared the roots will out grow its space, thats why I like growing my one pkant in a 5 gal pot.

Mini Plants are great things, no space (vert used). to create the perfect mini plant you must top and top and top the plant (may 4 times, gives you 16 tops) and grow with CFL's 3 inches from top of plant and in no time you'll have yourself a mini plant or bush !

Little plants?????? I don't see the facination...if you are growing cuz it's a good looking plant...ok...but if you are trying to smoke it let it grow, let it grow, let it grow.....oh wait that was let it snow...hhmmmm....oh well...BIG PLANTS...
