minty buds?

someone sold me some bud that smelt very minty, ive been looking it up and it doesnt seem like i can find any type of strains that "smell' minty..

what could have happen here?
are there any minty types of marijuana?
or was my bud messed around with?

ok im looking at pics of these buds, and it definitely doesn't look anything like what i have in front of me. what i have in front of me isnt to fluffy and has a few orange hairs and leafy. it kind of reminds me of a few types of dro that i have come across

I dont trust 99.9% of the dealers when they talk up their buds... Far as I know he could have thrown mints into the jar while curing.

yea just kinda gross, i'v eonly heard of curing with orange peels and lemon peels, stuff like that, but personally I'd say cure with only weed cause that is what u should be tasting

well i just called the kid and told him in know the weed he sold me was bogus, and he said its legit good MJ but its not mint he just threw like 100 altoids in the bag of weed a few hours before he sold it.
so technically my MJ was being rubbed all over altoids, is that even safe to spark up?

stress weed, male plants full of seeds that are grown in bulk, crammed into bricks or blocks, sometimes it has a minty smell to it...but its not like its desirable...its fuckin stress...

o0o icic, yea but this MJ isn't that, this is other stuff the kid i guess through a load of altoids in the bad with the weed, because i called him out on selling me messed with bud and he confessed to putting the altoids in with it to give it a "mint" smell
so now im trying to see if it will be a harsh smoke for the throat
or if it will harm throat or lungs in anyway
