I made the same mistake because I thought Miracle Grow was great. I heard foxfarm is good but try going to a local store that sells gardening supplies and see what they have.

a proper flushing will do it no transplant necc. specially if it was added nutes not nutes already in the soil. btw have had successful grows with 3 month continuous feed miracle gro soil

I used Miracle Grow and it seems to work a treat. Could be better, a little stunted but that could be one of a few factors, such as being too bloody impatient BUT the best experience is hands on experience. Would I use it again? If I had the choice and a bit more of a varied knowledge, no. But otherwise, I seem to be getting along fine. Although im not being much help, from my newbie experience I wouldnt advice against MG if thats all you have. Seems to be swings and round-abouts, some people get along fine, some seem to suffer. So yea, just my 2 cents. :) So im of to go find some rabbits droppings.

Peace!

I hear a lot of people say that they get ok results with MG, but I stay away from the stuff. On my 2nd outdoor grow, years and years ago, I tried using MG. It was doin fine on me for a while, then the plants died. I couldn't find any other culprit, no pests, or severe changes. It looked like the result of overfertilization due to the MG. Im not sure if they have changed the composition of that stuff since then, but I have never used it since then, and have never had that problem since. Maybe it was just a coincidence that the plants died the one time I used MG, maybe not. There are several other lines of plant food geared specifically for cannabis. Those will be the best bet and easiest to use.

I've been using the Miracle Grow potting soil with great results. I also use the MG starter soil for my clones. It's cheap and readily available. So many variables to growing. A lot of it is trial and error along with some of the great knowledge shared here.

do you add nutritents on top of the Miracle Grow or just let the nutrients already in the soil do the work? My Miracle grow appears to be too strong so I constantly am flushing my plants when I water them.

I had excellent resultz from using the miracle gro 3 month feed soil. I did not ever add any additional nutes with that soil. I only fed em plain ol' distilled water and got nice budz:blsmoke:
