Exactly..I grew chocolate chunk that didn't have any odor aside from a slight hay smell..still a good smokeSome strains smell a lot, some don't smell very much. Either way, lack of smell doesn't mean all that much.
Whaaaaaaaaa?tomorow i will throw them away to make room for others.
This.I can think of two possible reasons why your plant's odor decreased or totally went away. One is unless your plant leaves only look very dark green because of your lighting then it has excess amounts of nitrogen. That will cause constriction of the vascular system and that will eventually lead to decreased terpenoid production (also cannabinoid production) and since odor come from terpenoids if terpinoids decrease odor will do the same.
The second possibility can get a little more detailed but I will make it short and simple. Terpinoids are responsible for more than just odor. For one that is where the tumor reducing quality of cannabis is found. But late in flower terpinoid production will decrease. Some strains will be different and there will be a greater or lesser degree in reduction in terpinoid production but it does happen. Possibly your strain is just one that does it to a greater degree.

Quality would depend on if the reason for the loss of odor was natural or due to some problem. If natural it will be as good as the combination of its genetics and your skill and conditions can make it but if it is a problem then there will be some decrease in quality but it is impossible to say if in your case it would be very minor or possibly rather much. If a problem it would depend on how long it was a problem as to how much it would effect quality.Brick top, you always have intelligent answers, +rep.
on another note, Will a odorless plant/bud turn out to be some respectable smoke?
A whole bunch goes on in trichomes and it is not always constant and changes are not always natural. Some people look at a trichome head and only think resin and some think resin and THC and some think more but what goes on inside those little spheres is actually very amazing. Resin production will peak when the caylx begin to darken but while new white calyx are still pushing out the top of the buds and many believe that is when most of the 'goodies' are created but before then some other functions in the very same trichome heads have slowed down, as in the production of terpenoids.This.
Many strains go "odorless" for a period of time during flower. In fact, id have to say that white rhino is stankier during its Veg cycle than its flower cycle.
