Mississippi town sued over 'school-to-prison pipeline'

Washington (CNN) -- Federal civil rights lawyers filed suit Wednesday against Meridian, Mississippi, and other defendants for operating what the government calls a school-to-prison pipeline in which students are denied basic constitutional rights, sent to court and incarcerated for minor school infractions.
The lawsuit says children who talk back to teachers, violate dress codes and commit other minor infractions are handcuffed and sent to a youth court where they are denied their rights.

I thought you wanted people to work. What is wrong with a pipeline between the school and the prison. It creates jobs. It can be an underground railway, someday. What if you had to break in, McIver? A pipeline would be perfect, right? No wonder you can't think with hidi's alligator poking out your butt.

About 86% of the district's students are African-American, but all of those referred to the court for violations were minorities, the government suit said.

next step, womb to workfarm pipeline. then we are right back in the Good ol Days.



reconstruction has done what it promised. reconstructed the antebellum south.

Well, no. Go back to history. They killed the Pub, Linclon and threatened the same for Johnson. The account is he woke up with the pistol to his head, himself, at one point.

The Pubs were to punish the South severely. Throw out the aristocratic created on the backs of slaves. But, the Dems got their way with assassination and intimidation. That is when the Dems started the racing bait and the KKK, to keep it status quo. Even the slaves stayed in place.

I grew up in the South and sure you can find the small minded, bible thumping Dem race haters, in little in-bred pockets. But, not the Pubs. And not the modern South. It is the least racist in the least racist country on Earth. The Dems are manipulating the race war for their political purposes. But, there is no race war, yet. That is the strength of self rule. Not all the people can be completely stupid, all of the time.

I'm still trying to find balance, especially when using American words, sometimes it way less or way more harsh than its intended.

Getting lots of practice in tho ;)
