Really, which video did you watch, because the one I saw, the camera man was still outside when the Corgi was mistakenly shot, and once inside, still showed no dog being shot, only the barks and then yelps.

It seems some of you think I condone shooting animals, when I've said many times in this post that in my perfect world, there would be no distinction against animals... you run one over, better stop and check to see if you can help, if you shoot an animal, same as shooting a person.

My only posts in this thread have been to those who are stupid enough to generalize that every cop is a dog murdering psycho... so anyone elses responses are totally irrelevant to my own.

And Benassi, I am not on the ground in front of the law, I am standing beside them shoulder to shoulder because they go out everyday and do their job, and that is protect people they don't even know.

And as fried day poked at, you won't see good stories of cops because cops doing good is normal, everyday work for them... arresting crack dealers, pimps, murderers... all of that.

You will only see the bad stories because that is what grabs people to watch, as shown here... a bunch of sheep under the impression that the police are out to get you.

Well sure, if you break the law they are out to get you, that's what we the people pay them for, to catch people who break the laws that the lawmakers we elected pass.

Focus on the bad judgments cops make, like this one... and focus on that department, not the entire police force in general.

To those people who have bashed cops on this forum, how do you picture your world, country, or city... without any police force at all?

It's a world scarier than anything you could probably imagine, the wild west all over again, raping and killing... robbing and looting, without any repercussions at all, unless of course you can defend your store/home/place of business/car/boat/etc etc all at the same time.

honestly i really believe that part of it is to prevoke the suspects. the officer gets to pop off a couple rounds in the house to scare the occupants and then a body to show they're not fucking around. on a side topic, the sheriff here in arizona (joe arpio) has been busted for many abuses of power and was until recently running for gov here. its going to be funny when this shit bites back at them. in dealing with the people i deal with, ive learned most people retaliate when you mess with their money. there is a steady flow of HEAVY DUTY weapons going into mexico from arizona (one of the most relaxed gun control laws...gee wonder why), and cheap drugs on the same trucks coming back. im just speaking for here in az, but they all know how to stop major flow of drugs if they wanted. instead they go after us so they can seize our shit for auction and let the juice keep rolling... because they gov didnt give them enough money to begin with. they threw away the rules a long time ago so lets not pretend we chose this fight. we all understand the stakes, i have no shame in breakin the law and harming no one in the pursuit or prosperity when these assholes do the exact same thing and mow people down. you aint gettin in MY trunk.

It is the "fuck the cops" attitude that gives most police officers their attitude in the first place. If everyone was respectful to them then they wouldn't have to bust down doors in the middle of the night with their guns drawn. The only time cops are dicks to me is when I don't cooperate, or when I try to be a smart ass to them. These guys have a shitty job where they risk their lives and get paid very little to do it, who here thinks criminals are fun to deal with all day? Of course you are still going to have your crooked cops, but they are HUMAN, there are bound to be rotten eggs in every bunch.

It's okay, I've got plenty of ammunition! But I think I could not have put it more bluntly than the last post...

Anyone who thinks their city/world/country would be better off without police is an idiot... what we all need to do is focus on the bad ones, like the few members in this SWAT raid... we need to focus on specifics, not generalizations.

I agree the amount of assholes cops have to put up with daily probably burns them out... that is why I always wear a smile and do what I can to make my local cops day more enjoyable, and as another member posted... yep that even means paying it forward if they're behind me in line somewhere.

Again, not every cop is out to get you... many are amazing fathers/husbands/friends of fellow ganja users...

With my attitude, I have "converted" if you will, at least 10 cops from being willing to arrest for pot, to being unwilling to arrest for pot... unless of course the guy is a complete ASSHOLE to the officer, or has other drugs on him.

I also feel good knowing that every encounter I have with police in which it is known that I smoke pot, advances our common movement to get more of law enforcement's eyes open to the fact that, unlike a lot of folks on this thread, there are actually GOOD pot smokers out there. And that we do respect, and thank those men and women for putting up with the bullshit they put up with on a daily basis, from seeing mothers cry at shootings, to seeing babies nuked and fried in microwaves... shit none of you cop haters could deal with, they deal with... every day.

Those of you that have advocated generalized police hate should hang your heads in shame for what you do to our community of peaceful pot smokers, to the other potheads cops come across that they treat like crap because of people like you... you are backpedaling our movement with your hate and tough words, of course most of those who've posted such idiocy are too idiotic to realize it... you instead think you are "helping" by calling for the death of cops and screaming out a very cliche and overused, childish line of "Fuck da police, fuck da police, fuck'em". Respect is often given when received, such has been my experience with police on a WORLDLY level... any country, state, city I've been to where I've interacted with police... it has been always respectful.

FOCUS on specific groups of officers, or individual officers, and call them out... this is the best way to rid your local PD of corruption, proven! And most of all, doesn't make you look like an idiot!

NEVER stereotype or generalize, most black men are not out to rape white women, and most Middle Easterner's do not have a bomb strapped to their chest, just as most cops do not misfit their uniform/badge.
