HEY?? who deleted my f'ing post!?!!?!?!? F&&&&CK

ok.. buddy had 18/6 going.. then left his room light on 13W cheap coil flouro bulb on over night accidentally.. and is wondering if he should 12/12 RIGHT now because of that mistake.. OR if he should put it back to 24hrs now.. since it had 18hrs of good light and like 6 hours of shitty light.. but still nonetheless had 24hrs of light last night..

what is the best way to save this mistake from causing PODS on FOR SURE FEMALES...
????? HELP .. ASAP boys.. thanks

In my opinion you will be just fine, 18/6 and 24hrs isnt that different as far as growth/cycle... I would go back to 18/6 for a few days and then switch to flowering if they are ready...

it's not about comparing 24 to 18.. the BIG lights went off after 18.. ONLY a shitty little 13w flouro was left on in the basement.. will this affect the crop OR not on PURE FEMALES.. STILL IN VEG!??!?!?! anyone have an experienced opinion on this??? cause i know even flickering off a 1000W off and on just one time will create male pods to show up on females.. OR will cause an entire crop to go male if not yet flowered from a seed.. i have seen this happen!!! especially with an LED panel going off and on.. that completely garbages the crop from what i have seen.. everything goes male sometimes.. if a light problem happens like that.. but this was just the lights went off .. but a shitty light stayed on.. so was there a severe enough shock to possibly cause problems or not?? should i just leave it on 18/6 .. or should i 12/12 right now.. just to make sure?!?!?!? anyone???
ASAP thanks...

I dont think it will hurt just go back to the normal time like it never happend. the no light when flowering has always preplexed me because in nature the moon is full and bright during flowering but outside plant still do there thing. i wouldnt worry about.

leave it on 18/6, or go to 20/4 or 24/0 (whatever your true preference is). bottom line is if it doesn't do this everyday it wont stress your plants too much. you said you are sure they are female, is that due to them being femm'd seeds? or clones? if they are femmed seeds, any stress has the potential to hermie them, but it is unlikely your mistake will do such a thing, especially if its the only time its happened. fix your lights (get a timer or whatever you need to ensure it doesn't happen again) set your schedule to what you want, and then make sure you stick by it. you should be fine.

as for going to 12/12 to fix your mistake, i dont know who told you that, but i doubt it would do anything at all, except needlessly cutting your vegetation period short.

and as far as i understand, the moon doesn't have an effect because its not sunlight, its reflected light. no uvb, unusable sepctrum.. etc.

1 day shouldnt be a problem. takes a plant a couple weeks to make the hormonal adjustment from veg to flower and vice versa. worst case scenario, one or more plants might go herm from light shock, (but those odds are long) and if you make a change to the ligh cycle again youll only worsen the shock.

i say put em on whatever they were on before and youll be fine.

and tell your "friend" i said good luck :-)

ok.. as i said before.. TURNING OFF AND ON a 1000W bulb WILL CAUSE HERMIES AND SEEDS EVERYTIME!!!! if done during flowering.. that causes hermy's and seeds that are 60% feminized approx..

so don't tell me that it takes days for a plant to go through hormonal changes.. cause that is bullshit.. i know it's bullshit 100% for sure.. if you turn your light off and on again during 12/12 you will have seeds at the end.. try it.. if you don't think so..

i'll just tell him to leave it at 18/6 for the fact they are all from clone.. EXCEPT a dolce vita, and a nycd which are from beans.. so hopefully those don't go male.. but put it this way.. his WHOLE entire thing messed up last time.. because of his extention cord coming unplugged 2 times real fast.. as he was moving an air pump.. he stepped on the ext cord .. and flicker, flicker.. happpend.. and all 4 rubbermaids with 8 in each.. with air tubes in each.. ALL WENT MALE.. AND SO DID ALL THE BABIES HE CUT OFFF THEM ALSO.. THE ENTIRE THING WENT MALE.. CAUSE IT HAPPENED BEFORE 12/12.. IF IT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED AFTER 12/12 .. HE WOULD HAVE JUST HAD A LOT OF SEEDS IF IT HAPPENS EARLY INTO 12/12 YOU WILL GET A LOT OF SEEDS.. IF LATER ON .. YOU WILL ONLY HAVE A FEW.. THIS IS FROM EXPERIENECE.. SO BELIEVE IT..

THIS WAS A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT OF A SITUATION CAUSE IT WASN'T A FLICKER OF THE BIG LIGHT, AND RATHER JUST A MILD AMOUNT OF LUMEN ALL NIGHT LONG DURING DARK HOURS.. AND YES THE MOON DOESN'T COUNT CAUSE IT IS LUNAR LIGHT.. NOT SOLAR.. AND DOESN'T HAVE THE BAD UV SHOCK..

BUDDY HAS REAL BAD LUCK WITH LIGHT STABILITY.. LOL.. POOR GUY.. anyways.. thanks anyways guys..

i have an idea for him next time.. DON'T MAKE MISTAKES! sigh....

my call is that the beans will go male.. and the clones will be fine.. if left at 18/6, but if put to 12.12 right away i think some will hermy on him.. so i told him to leave it where it is ..
for like 3 days.. and the funny thing is .. he was planning to 12/12 in like 3 days.. and this shit happens now? good.. lucky it didn't happen in 4 days from now.. haha..
he would have had a seed company for sure going in his room.. hahah..

continue 18\6 . if you belive a faint light like that will screw all plants up too be male then throw that crap away and get a stable strain. also easy on the caps lock.. makes your posts look agressive and loudmouthed.

hope it works out ok with this crop. happy growing

sorry to hear about such bad luck, but iam afraid to tell you that you are 100% wrong about your 100% certainty. i know for a fact that a small light issue like that during veg will NOT stress a plant out that much to effect budding so far down the line. you need to look into your facts a bit more. as crazeehaze says, its not about that stress, its about the genetics you are using. sounds to me like you need better dna.

oh, and to reiterate, please, go easy on that caps lock. its not just aggressive and loudmouthed, but it also comes hand in hand with immaturity and stupidity. i don't want to lump you into that category, so try being a little more subtle, or dare i even say, humble next time (yes i realize the irony in pointing this out).

all of that aside, good luck with the problem at hand, and happy growing =D
