Alright I been getting alot of different answerz about misting my plants. Can someone plz tell me if it's ok to mist my plants if I have the lights on. Ya I've heard to turn the lights off when u mist but I wanna kno if u can mist the plants n still have them under light??

You can but you are risking the plants getting burnt
The little droplets on the leaves can magnify the light onto the leaf and burn it

No why would you assume that?
Have you heard people say that they have to mist there plants or else they will dry out or get heat burn?
You don't get hear burn from not misting plants, you get it from not having proper ventilation to handle the heat of your light

Koo bro thx 4 the advice

The only time you mist your plants is to wash the dust from the leaves. I do it just before flowering.

I started misting before I even knew anything about growing. It did no harm to my last plant, some of the fan leaves were very large and I decided to look up some info on spraying the leaves. What I read, was the plant as the leaves dry out produces more resin to protect the plant, so misting all the time causes the plant to not need to produce as much resin as it could. Now, I did this on my last plant and it turned out really nice and is strong, but on this plant that is almost finished it also looks very good and never misted it. So, I would say either way your ok, might get minor burn spots if using a hps or mh but otherwise won't do much harm or help much and whatever you do, don't mist with a hps where water can hit the bulb and blow up.

I do it every now and than. Never burned them, but I usually do it lightly and a hr or so before lights out.

I like to let them get rained on every now and than lol.
