I hate thripes worse than mites, thripes rape my leaves. But when I found the neem oil I thanked god directly.

no, someone whose opinion i respect on riu mentioned it to me day before yesterday - apparently it's species-specific (although it kills off a lot of the bloodsuckers like fleas and ticks too).... probably gonna try it next time the ladies have 'issues'.....

Thanks for the reminder. I try to make Neem a reg. thing but hey I'm a lazy stoner too and forget. Found a little sucker yesterday. One out of about 15 leaves I checked with 2 weeks to go in flower I'll avoid the neem cause it's not to the infestation point. I've battled these things since my wife brought them in from outside on her gardening shit last fall.

you'll see more dots of discoloration than holes, you may have something else.....look on the underside of the leaves, there little but are moving, if you have a scope or mag glass use it you will see them and eggs. Their brownish with a dark spot on each side of their body....

It's mite season in California as well. I found a bunch of them last night on my SFV OG 3 weeks into flower. I just chopped it down and threw it away, rather than have a host colony to spread to my Grape Kush that is 8 weeks into flowering. They get a Doctor Doom Bug Bomb tomorrow a few hours before the lights turn on. Luckily I have a good amount of SFV OG clones laying around, so it's no skin off my nose. I'm moving next week anyways, the less plants I move, the less things for me to worry about. I also have a massive Strawberry Cough that is weak at the moment, I'm afraid they will attack her next. She has already endured a lot of light stress. I kicked a timer and it punished me.

Edit: As a reminder to all my Canadian neighbors that you need to treat spider mites religiously every day for a solid two weeks to get rid of them. I recommend starting with a Doctor Doom bomb (for rooms 5x5 and larger ONLY) and keeping on top of it with the spray can of Doctor Doom after that, which is good for all rooms. Azamax is derived from the neem plants root rather than the berry, and is more effective I hear. I don't know, I have never used Neem on spider mites, I switched to Azatrol/Azamax a long time ago, before I had spider mites.

Two weeks is what is recommended by the manufacturer of Doctor Doom for spider mites, I think 3 weeks is more realistic, though. These little bastard's are stuborn, pretentious, mother fuckers!

so there should be alot? llike if i looks under some fan leaves and se no signs of them than are the numbers small enough to not hurt the plants much?
