Post some new pics here if u can and I will tell u my thoughts. I would probably go with straight water and no ferts for a week or two. I say this cause I just burnt the hell out of 2 plants with ferts, either too much or from a loskout and not enough. U can't kill em, not easily anyhow, with straight water. After a few waterings u can tell a little better as to the problem. .

Thanks sicc. I am thinking of doing a how on it. Its easy to do and doesn't have to be glued, it can be screwed together and then tape off seams. I prefered the glue so I could seam it and bond it together at the same time.

hey bublonichronic, thanks! i am either gonna get a 100 watt 4k ceramic metal halide (cmh), or a 150 watt 4k cmh. i have to deal with to high of temps, about 92-93. i do think the cooltube will help cool me down a few degrees, but with summer approaching i will easily tap on mid-high 90's in my box. but you know mother nature throws it at all of 'em in Carolina's outside summertime, hot and humid as hell here!!! so if a plant can sit in 94 degree 80% humidity outside for 13-17 hours a day, they can toast in my box during the nighttime hours in a controlled environment. BS2 has proven that to me! well that is enough stoned rambling by me! peace yall, com'on bak ya'hear!

Hey RIU, picture update. i thought last week was week 8, but i did my math again and I think this week is week 8. whatever fucking week it is, its only one plant, and it def aint ready, but I am seeing some swelling!!:clap:

my leaf tips are curling, and i dont know if that is normal for this stage of flower or not. i will only use water for a little while though and molasses.

sorry i havent done anything with a DIY on that cool-tangle. I am gonna do it, just been real busy.basically it is a 7 inch sq that is 18 inches long.
 
Beautiful pics mate. Plant looks great. The droopy tips don't look like anything to worry about, prolly caused by temps raising a little.

Hey Gumball, looking good. Are you going to use that cabinet for just vegging once you get the CMH or flowering also? Also, does the Plexiglas seem to affect the lumens that get through to the plant? I've talked about doing this sort of thing but everyone loves to tell me it is pointless because of the decrease in lumens. I would be using CFL's though, nothing stronger.
 
I don't think the plexi affects much. It has like 96% transparency, so a little. Now if u use plexi it is now my opinion you have to keep the light area with a separate intake and exhaust than the grow area. This is because the plexi material absorbs and retains heat. U don't want the heat by the bulbs getting to the grow area. It can work, just take some more thought. My box aint big enough for the cooltangle so I dropped it for now. I think I will shorten it and use it for the CMH. The I can exhaust it better

Oh, and that box is an all in one. I am thinking bout doing strictly 12/12 from seed. I have been following v12's perpetual pc grow and he does that in a PC tower, and pulls like 20 grams a plant every few weeks
 
What I was thinking of doing was having the air intake and exhaust for both on one system. I would have the air come up through the intakes, around the edges of the Plexiglas (which would be cut in a circle and secured to the box with an inch all around), and then up out the top. My fan is strong enough that I don't think too much heat would be able to sneak into the grow area, if any. I think it will have to be a trial and error experiment. Where did you get your Plexiglas from? I've seen it at Lowe's, but it is expensive.
 
That sounds like it will work. I got mine from work. If u get it from lowes or home depot they at least may be able to cut it for you, cause you would need a circle right?
 
Yeah, I got some scrap from them a while back when I was making a HO generator for my car. They cut up some scrap for me. I will need a circle for my box though. Maybe I will get lucky and they will have a decent piece of scrap I can have. I hate talking to them though because they are always so nosey about what you need it for, and in this sort of case I can't tell them. They can't just tell you where it is. Then they always make fun of me or roll their eyes if I tell them what is for. I had to argue with one guy when I told him about the HO generator. He laughed at me and told me I was wasting my time. I eventually had to tell him to stop talking and show me where the stuff I needed was. Sorry :) I've just dealt with way too many rude people at that store.
 
Easiest answer ever, regardless of marital status "I'm doing a project for my wife, its an *insert whatever a woman may like that has what your asking for in it*". Even if its dumb as hell, I make ass holes like that want to show me what I am looking for and get the fuck away!! Or just feed some random line of bullshit that you thought of on the way to the store.
 
hey folks,
well its getting real close. i aint feeding anything but water and maybe some molasses. she has thickened up well, and her main cola has started growin like a new top out the top. its weird. oh well, she will do good.
