Mixing Nutes

I have switched to the 12/12 cycle today.

I am going to be using this (NPK 6.2 - 3 - 10); http://www.yates.com.au/products/fe...rive-concentrate-flower-and-fruit-plant-food/

I use their vege mix and it works great, so ill stick with the brand.

I also have a bottle of the attached potash that i want to use with it.

Would i be safe using molasses, this potash stuff, and my fert? Or will that be too much?

Any recommendations?

I will probably have to water with nutes every watering, because of the size of the pots. They take about 5 days to dry out.

Would i water with molasses just once every two waterings? Or what?

Anyone? Do i need an ec/ppm meter to mix these nutes without risk? If so, what do i need to know?

Remember - soil not hydro.

I don't know about the ec/ppm, but why don't you follow the instruction. 1Ml of ferti for every litre? If you aren't sure about how much you should put in, try 1Ml for every 2 litres or 1Ml for every 3 litre.
When a week has pass, just change the nutes per litre, into 1Ml for every 2L, and then after a week. Change it to the full ferti option, 1Ml for every litre.

I'm doing a soil grow aswell, also just using the same fert, although my one is powder. It says, 1 Teaspoon for every 4L, so i just went half a teaspoon for every 2L

Hi mate

I have 8 soil grows under my belt atm and what ever the fertilizer bottle recommendations are cut them in half and test your water to make sure the PH is 7. I would get a EC/PH meter as they take the guessing out of it, I wouldn't survive without my ph/ec meter lol i'm sure id melt a lot of plants without it:). You will be fine using molassis with your fertilizer, I use 1ml per L of water. As for the potash id just use the ferts you have and see how your plants respond if they are looking healthy after 2 weeks play around with the potash:)
