Howdy - I'm a youngling when it comes to growing, only having 3 full grows underneath my belt. At the moment, I only grow for myself plus 3 other patients that are close friends and relatives.
About two months ago, I finished up a very nice grow where I had both Full Moon and Aurora Indica (Nirvana). Both myself and my patients thought the quality of both strains were very good, and each have their different uses.
The last couple of weeks I've ground (dedicated coffee grinder) a mixture that utilizes 2\3 FM and 1\3 AI. For general use, I was extremely pleased with this mixture, and it's become the preferred blend for my patients as well.
I still find that I like the "pure strains" for a specific utility, but this grind is becoming our default for general use. My questions for those with more experience then I are:
1: This blend seems like it results in a very good synergy between the two strains that results in a better overall general medication. Have others experienced this same type of effect?
2: I realize that the master seedbanks are designing strains that combine these same types of effects that I have experienced with my "blend". Do you think that these hybrid strains result in the same type of synergy that a ground-blend provides? (Added Nirvana Ice to my next grow, for experimenting on a hybrid).
Thanks for any feedback, I'm really interested in the opinions of experts out there.
