Mixing up the lights

Wanted to know if it would be possible to use a mixture of 12 75W energy saving bulbs, with 2*36 Tube lights, and 1* 400w MH light (for vegging). Would it be possible to grow 12 plants large and healthy( I was considering growing for 3months and flowering for 2months)

And what would be the consequences of only changing the MH 400w Light to a HPS 400, but using the other lights throughout the whole life of the plants.

please leave any advise.
thanks.

The more light the better. I don't see how they could have a negative effect. 12 plants does seem like alot though for just one 400 watt light. I wouldn't veg them for 3 months. Try vegging for a month and then switch to flowering. The canopy would take most the light and any buds underneath really wouldn't get that big.

Hell yeah

what the 1st guy said.. if yo want 12 plants to flower comfortably under a 400 w light you are going to want to veg no longer than 1 month. also make sure your balast will support both mh and phs before you changeg bulbs.

Thanks guys. Another question. Is it worth getting a UV light to use for some time in the flowering period to increase the resin levels?

no. uv light will destroy thc molecules....

the only problem with having so many lights will be heat issues, and a cheap fan should solve them, as long as your HID is exhuasted, cool tubed, or otherwise compensated for

make sure the cfl's and floro's are movable, as youll be wanting to shuffle them around as the plants grow.

mixed spectrum lighting is one of the best things you can do for your plant... good luck
