MMJ Farmers Markets

Are there currently any ongoing or seasonal MMJ Farmers Markets in Ca? I know there has been some in the pass here and there with little consistency or success, and Riverside has like one a year. It would be nice to meet up and swap clones from quality mothers, trade zips of flowers to add to the variety of our head stash, and unload old but still good equipment. I just know there has to be a better culture in the California medical community than what is seen on the surface. The La scene is so F'd up of dispensaries 33% of them are Russian mob owned, 33% are shady and unprofessional, and the 33% who are out there for the right reasons good luck getting your product on the shelves. So, I grow for me and my small group of patients, and keep away from the clubs, I don't want my name on their books when they get their doors kicked in for tax evasion anyway.

But I digress... So post anything you know of. I don't want to segregate Nor/So Cal because we are all good people and should be willing to go to the end of the world for one another. I wish I had more to contribute to the topic than a rant on the decline of the integrity in the MMJ community. :leaf:

remember that anybody who is at one of these is paying a fee or a % to the host thats why prices suck

Organicanns is the only thing I know of up north. But it isn't a farmers market exactly. It is for members only and designed for the outdoor vendors to come in and setup so that patients can get meds directly from them. But it is not direct...OC gets half of all "specialty"(anything not a sample) and $3/5$ of the $5 samples. That's why it may seem like people are in it for the money...we don't even get half it. Just a front so they seem more compassionate. But it is fun and nothing else really like it. There is only one more left this year till next harvest. It's on 4/20 and Subcool will be there.

Once the Cops roll up to ask about tables full of clones. When I reply nothing is for sale, just trade, will they look the other way?

Go there at least a week before and sign up in the clone department. Show up, setup and people will come to your table. You set your own donations so what ever it has to be so that when it's cut it in half you still make enough recovery. Not everyone gives the samples out...but that's mostly all the patients want. I found it by showing up one day just to get some normal meds and was blown away by how cool it was as a patient. As a vendor like I said the cut is kinda lame...but only cause you see what it could be...you'll make out fine in the end.

EDIT: Pretty sure Sub will no longer be at the 4/20 one...he's going to the denver cup...I'm jeleous.

Ya it's outdoor...but for this one there might be some indoor, it's been a while since outdoor harvest. The little paint jar are the samples. Guys pack them pretty full and it's anywhere from .5 to a gram depending...patients will give you the look if your a jew about it. Kief is the biggest attraction there cause you get that little paint jar filled for $5. The patients can get 6 of the sample for $25 so that is why vendors only get $ 2 of the $5...you get your $2 for every sample...she takes the hit for the free one so she actually only gets about $2.33 not 3, so it's closer to fair than vendors think. They have a contest between the vendors where the patients vote with a chip for best booth...winner winner. You'll have fun.

Edit: They supply the table... unless it is super pack and they ask if you have one to bring it.
