Not being ignorant, but perhaps they see that their standards are way too fucking high for a weed....

I'll bring them in early next week. Wont be stocking up too much as I don't know much about this market and how the warranties work Will be doing some homework this weekend and read up on it. If warranties are handled by the manufacturer after certain amount of time then I can go with the pricing I'm hoping to go with.

Yup the markup on that stuff is crazy. Most retailers make double and better on bongs, papers and accessories.
Vapes are a bit less profitable. But not by much

Yeah, I had the glass discussion with a friend recently - the custom stuff is insanely priced and still has a huge markup, but some of the other glassware is just crazy. Most of them price based on looks, not performance.

I have seen this Pure Glass ZERO X4 for everything from $800 to $1800.

Yup most folks have no idea how much they donate to the retailer for smoking accessories. Margin are huge in that head shop stuff. It's easy to make double on most sales. Where ya gonna compare really. So they buy.
The Champs show was great.....everything at wholesale.

Shops in London have bongs worth more than that - all hand blown (is that the right term or am I thinking of something else?) and made by Canadians.

I got the X4 at Champs at Wholesale price.. I think it was $800.
Thankfully not my $800.
 
Oh ya that glass stuff is priced way outta this world imo. Those artist made bongs are a lot of hard work, but also considered as an art piece. So cha ching...nice to look at and expensive to actually use.
The youth is into that art glass BIG time.
champs was a great opportunity to buy at real prices. Another bummer loosing the show.

i think since the case is next Monday, they are going to OK more licenses to show how they are improving...right now HC looks bad for not giving enough LP licenses so we don't have access.

yeah...I like how he explained the differences in his signature...he signs depending on his mood...?? then how or why use a signature at all. i know if i sign a cheque with a different signature, my bank will reject it & i'm sure his would too....
 
I might be missing something here but how in the world do all these guys plan on making money in MMPR if there's up to 60 LPs? Ok I can see if they hold out till it becomes legalized but thats still a few years away and they'll probably still have to bid/apply for the contracts and the testing will probably be more stringent. Even if they started to export and it was making money I can see other cheaper labour countries jumping in and flooding the world market or all the LP"s packing it up and going to where they have cheap labour.

Man with the 10's of millions of dollars I could have set up lots different businesses that would be successful.
