MN Outdoor 2010

With School, work, and not being able to take care of my plants I was getting very stressed out lately. Until today I went out to check if there was still any hope left for a harvest. I Hiked a few miles into the woods until I was hit in the face with an overwhelming scent of dank, that's when I got a grin from ear to ear. I got in to the opening where my girls are, and it looks quite different now after being away for a month. All of the cover is gone and there are 3 big pot bushes:weed: I took a few samples of each to try in the next few days, the PF has the biggest nuggs followed close by the BC, the SLH is probably only 4-5 weeks in and wont finish but it smells really interesting, kinda lemon-mango.

The BC and PF have clear-cloudy mushroom trics, if weather allows harvest will be in 2 weeks.

This MN clay-sand soil is great for holding water, I have never given each plant more than a half gallon of water a week, and for the last month havent watered at all.

I will be sure to have harvest pics next time, I will need to borrow a camera though as I took a tumble in the woods and broke mine.

If I would have cut today, with only the PF and BC, I think it would have been easily be over a QP which will last me like 6 months. Also no signs of mold or other pests, The PF had a few seeds so something must have hermed, but with the shitty Sept. we had it's understandable.

I'll definitely get pics before harvest, the forecast for the next week is great, buds are gonna swell, just trimming 4 little nuggs my scissors and fingers were so sticky.

Well I still don't have a new camera, but I have been extremely busy with school and work, and have been busy utilizing my harvest. I got 42g of PF in jars and 20g more which I made into butter, It was kind of airy and must have hermied causing about 40 seeds. I got 50g of SLH which is a little airy and a few weeks early, but has a really unique scent after a week in the jars definitily citrus. Lastly I got 80g of solid dense resinous Blue Cheese that smells like Cap'n Crunch Berries/Blueberry Cobbler with a skunky heady scent and taste. I was at the Furthur show in Minneapolis on Monday and smoked up a few people around me and got complements.
I will post pics when I get a new camera, maybe a smoke report too.

Here are a couple pictures of one of my Blue Cheese nuggets.

All the branch tops looked like this nice golf ball sized nuggs.

I trimmed the sugar leaves after it was dried so it was difficult to get them close but they are absolutely covered in trichomes, the pics are from a phone.

It says it's an Indica, but it also won the High Times Sativa cup a few years back??

In the jar is smells of delicious blueberry muffins.

In a bag or packed in a pipe it gets a nice skunk cheese funk to it.

Smooth smoke, light berry funk/odd taste but in a good way. If you don't eat after you can taste it for hours, it's great.

The buzz, for me is very pleasant, I have smoked about 1-2 bowls everyday for the last 3-4 years so I might have a higher tolerance. It creeps up a on you as your packing the second bong rip and question if you need another. For me its a Indica stone from the onset and 30-45 mins I just want to melt in to the couch, after that it seems like a wave a energy hits and I want to go do something, and remain in a dreamy/floaty kind of state with time floating by for the next two to two and half hours.

I'm proud of my work, and I will be doing it up again next year I hope. I have acquired a boat now so it is game on!!!

Happy holiday season my fellow Minnestoners!!

The pics are really poor quality, it is very light green with hues of greyish blues and the hairs are a pale brown.
When you break these dense beauties up they are just encrusted and your fingers are sticky.

been curing since first week of November and burns to perfection in a joint or bowl.

Local outdoor organic!!
