Ok, I just got some pretty good deals on Early Queen, Critical Mass, and ASH from Shanti's auctions. Has anyone grown these before? How strong do they tend to feed? How well do they take to topping? Anything else I should know before popping these beans?

Thanks so much!

Early queen is easy to grow and has lots of nice flavors. U have three nice strains the only one that's not mold resistance is CM.

Mold has only been an issue on one grow thus far...and it was my fault. I had beautiful, dense nuggets and not enough air flow. Even then, it was only found on two buds. So I am not too worried about CM.
Kane - I chose EQ for almost the same reason. We have a LONG growing season, but my only outdoor attempts have all been found and ripped up or ripped off in the past. I choose them to hopefully get an outdoor harvest before someone discovers her. We have 250 acres of lake front property (mainly used for hunting), so if I keep it to one plant here and two there - maybe they will not be found. :)

250 acres and your plot still gets ripped? some people... I live in metro detroit and have a backyard that is like 50 foot x 50 foot, so no outdoor plants at all here. my buddy's mom recently became a medical card holder and she has some room outside, so im gonna fill a few holes with my soil mix and plant some early queen's for her once they show sex. if things go well and the garden produces more than she needs (which is very little) all the rest will be given away for free to patients at the local medical farmers market :)
