It is. I have 3070s, 2530s and vero18s running between 5-700ma. No reason to spend $50+ on a small increase in efficiency IMO. The $3 a month it saves me on electricity won't cover the upfront costs lol. Plus I can replace without thinking about it every time new arrays come out. Which I don't think would be the same if I paid for the 3590s.Very true. Cxb25''s is a great idea. They're max wattage is around 60 so 500ma would be decently bright.
