Molassas? Why and How Much?

My plants are in week 1-2 into flowering and I have seen Molassas mentioned a few times and was wondering, What exactly is molassas supposed to do and how much and how often should I use it? Thanks in advance!

It feeds the microbes and lessens the stress on the plant so it can focus on growth. Some say it helps add density and size to the buds while others say it doesnt.

I have seen a difference when I use it in my waterings, I use 1 tablespoon per gallon or 1.5 gallons.

This. Precisely.

It is important to reiterate/note that it feeds microbes in the soil...not the plant itself (i.e. no uptake via xylem). This is a commonly confused aspect.

Some people add molasses every other watering and others only use it to flush. It makes the oils sweat out. Thanks DireWolf for starting this thread in honor of me because I mentioned molasses in the other journal. But whats up with the feedback bro? I keep helping you.tell ya what I will leave you rep for rep. ok?

Yeah, soil. Its an outdoor grow. Thanks all for the advice. I'm going to try it on half of my plants to see if I notice a difference.

It acts as a carbo load. Your buds will probably taste a little bit sweeter, but I doubt your yield/potency will differ. It just helps bring out the buds natural taste imo.
