Molasses Side By Side Test

Will be using molasses on these two White Widows from clones. Pretty much identical plants. I will start the molasses test this week. The plant on the left will get the molasses. The one in the middle will get no molasses.

It will be the plants on the left and middle. The plant on the right get more sun so would not be a fair run.

If I see a difference then all my other plants will get molasses. If no change then I will not use molasses on the other plants.

nice setup... just curious y dont u go in the ground or use bigger pots? u obviously got ur shit down since u got that nice of plants in those pots but u could be yielding a whole lot more.

subbed. killer looking plants man. side by sides always interest me. How similar is the light for the two in this test? How much molasses?

Well I was hoping for smaller plants in the pot really. This is the first time growing 12 plants. I know I can get huge plants in the ground. I was thinking It would be less work. As you can see it still took up my whole backyard. I know have a 60ft hedge. This is what I was trying to control. Or thinking anyway. I almost grew 6 more. Happy I did not. All in all 6 is really all I need. I will not do 12 next year. I think :)

May sound retarded but I do not like this much pot in my backyard. It's more than I need to be honest. Plus my wife tripping saying we will get killed over it. On and on.... She also hates that I sleep with them. She worries me out there all night with my machette. See the van? No tents this year. I am styling. TV and all.

Light is about the same really. The one on the far right is out from the house so it gets more sun on the right side. The top half of all the plants get the same sun.

I am thinking teaspoon per gallon. Unless someone changes my mind that is?

cool test. I bet the only difference will be in the quality of the smoke. I'm thinking the microbes in the soil will be better fed with the molasses, and make a better quality smoke. That's my GUESS. and that's about what it is ...a guess haha. I'll definitly be watching this.

as long as the rest of the grow is organic you /will/ see differences with the molasses.

WOW great job and your plants are killer. I feel you on the wife ragging about the plants......lol my is the same. Have you started feeding molasses yet? how old are the plants.

Over the past 2 years I have been reading that 1/2 a teaspoon is better than a whole one. Less is better is what they are saying. What's in your dirt

I don't know why, but it does control odor. My grow was getting too smelly, I tried it and now near harvest I hardly smell a thing. Before it would just reek.

I think that it smokes better too. I could just be partial too. I use it from little babies to harvest.

Can you explain the Organic thing? Is the FF killing the micros?

My soil is Fox Farms Ocean Forrest Soil with 30% perlite mixed in. I use the three FF nutes.

The plants just have been budding for about 2.5 weeks in the pots. I have not started the molasses yet. The WW are slower than my other strains.
