I don't think there will be no difference. If it were a 100% organic grow, then yes he would see a difference. He's using FF big 3.....? Is that "Grow Big, Big Bud, and Tiger bloom" or "Open Sesame, Beastie Bloom and Cha Ching"? He'll have better results with the first 3 vs. the second 3 using molasses. Like Wheezer said, molasses is there to feed the micro beastie herd living in your soil, the better they do the better your smoke.
