mold in growroom, Preventing mold with dehumidifier

Hello everybody at the weed-growing community!
I am about to jump onto my 4th grow and this time it is gonna be 1 Chocolope (dna genetics) and 1 Somango (soma seeds).

Now my question is regarding the room, in wich i will have my growtent.
Last time i checked i started to see small build ups with mold on the front door!
The room is a little bit messy, but not too much, there is a little old furniture and stuff in there and even though i would love to toss it all out and make it clinically clean in there i do not have that possibility. I am not the owner of this place and i want the owner to find the room exactly as he left it when he comes back.

I have during my last grow's been in need of a humidifier during the hole growing period, even though i decrease the humidity in flowering.
My plan is to vent out the hot, humid air from the growtent via a vent in the wall. I will also be using a cooltube to regulate temperatures in the tent.
Now, as i am using a humidifier i will most certainly increase humidity in the room wich my tent is placed. I was thinking of getting a dehumidifier and put it ouside the tent. Being so that i have already seen spots of mold in this room i am wondering how much help a dehumidifier will help do to reduce the risk of mold to spread into the growtent?
Is there anybody who can recommend me this alternative with a clear conscious? or should i put the tent in my bedroom with a large increase of risk

Best regards, StrictlyHerbs

You probably don't want to do this but......clean, clean, clean.

Move as many things as you can out of there. Clean the furniture. Let it dry. Cover it. Store it neatly. Turn on a dehumidifier. Make sure you have plenty of electricity(current) and water ready. Chocolope will grow monsterously huge buds, so you have to be careful.

for the moment i am having my tent in the bedroom, but the plants are a few weeks old, just seedlings so far.
I guess that is what would be best to do.
I think i will clean the hell outta that room, then place the tent there for the last month, when it starts to wreak of fresh ganja.
Thank you Jeeyah for the fast reply!

Use vinegar, hydrogen peroxide or a 1:10 bleach:water solution and spray any active mold you see, let it stay wet for 10 minutes, then clean with a sponge and some more solution, then spray again and let air dry. Stop running a humidifier, as long as your above ~30% rel humid you'll be fine, plant's might just use a little more water. Run a dehumidifier in the room the tent is in if you can put it near the tent exhaust.

Thanks for the tip WeedFreak!
Really good to learn how to clean those spores out.
Now, in my personal opinion i dont know about such a low humidity. I learned the hard way that a 'too-low-humidity' and a hot hps lamp might burn your precious plants and crisp their leaves. I dont want to cause any stress.

Trying to keep humidity from 60 - 80% now i veg
And around 40 - 60 in flower. (maybe 40 - 50 if i got small signs of mold in the room)

Being that this project is a risk-taker i want to provide my plants wit the best environment possible so that in the end i can get some good tasting, organic, medicinal buds!
Just my personal preference about the humidity though, everybody got's their own style of growing.
Thanks for the tip though! :)

I just use the 3% h2o2 from the bottle and spray stuff down. but really you should be using a dehuey.. Even the cheaper peltier style dehueys work fine, At a lot less wattage.

You want to follow Jeeyah advise and clean the place first & then spray, I prefer a lime sulfur base solution but other like vinegar, hydrogen-peroxide or bleach will work too.
