Mold in seedling soil?

Hey guys appreciate any help! I haven't really been on here in 10+ years so Im a little rusty. Just noticed some mold looking stuff growing in 2 different cups that have seedlings in them... At least I think its mold, although the 2 seedlings with this growth are outperforming a dozen other seedlings. This is just seed starting soil from HD so no organic soil or nutrients... I was not planning to repot for another week but may have to do it tonight. Any advice would be appreciated since this doesn't look like the typical mold I'm use to seeing... Thanks!!

I'd drench the roots with a mix of peroxide & water and repot while keeping a sharp eye on it... maybe a clear plastic container with drainage drilled in?

I did it to 3 of these 4 clones when they first rooted almost 3 weeks ago.... they look just fine to me.. checked out the root zone when I took them out of the cups and the roots were massive.. entire border around the soil was bright white :p

And kill all the beneficial bacteria and fungi in the soil?

Side note: many brands of soil contain healthy fungus and bacteria so when you add water you will see mycelium start to appear. In fact if I dont I start to worry.

I have read about the hydrogen peroxide but wanted to try and identify the growth before killing it in case it is beneficial..

ganga gurl, I understand living soil and was looking up mycelium last night but I can't say anything looked similar. It's only in 2 out of 13 of the seedlings so I'll leave it be unless I start to see adverse effects. These guys are 2x the size and 1 set of leaves ahead of all the others and today is only day 6-7 since germinated seeds went into soil. I may be making a trip to the store and mixing up some living soil.

Appreciate the help! I'll eventually start a grow journal after I figure out my lighting situation. It gets way to hot where I live for 1000w hps

It would be going into 100% new soil with a lil mykos maybe but,
I'm sure that can be supplemented somehow.. as long as the mold goes..
she can be nursed back to health with a little love.
