i've had powdery mold for awhile now it won't go away im in the 7th week of Flowering
should i trash it or treat it with a fungicide like "GreenCure" then harvest i.d.k i'll most likely trash it.

neem oil and pick off the bad spots, I have had this happen and just made a large batch of tincture with it. Not ideal but I couldnt complain!

Don't spray anything that close to harvest. Cut any leaves with stems on it, and start your flush, reduce humidity and increase circulation as much as possible. Be careful who smokes you medicine. PM can lead to lung infections, but elder and sick people are more prone to problems.

I have read that you definately don't want to moke that. I think you can make hash out of i though. I think you need to run a sulfer burner in the future read u on how to use them because they can be dangerous I think, I never had this problem personally since the humidity here is not a problem.

Read this pretty good insight on moldy bud. Its like someone said on here it all depends on whos smoking it some people are more prone to lung infection that can be a result after smoking. This article give ya a way to get rid of most of the harmful spores in the mold it self. PM also start in the root once your plants start showing sign of it its only treatable not curable. There is beneficial insects you can buy that you release on your plants. Which seek out the spores in the roots and leafs that help tremendously. But 7 weeks into flowering already there is really only so much you can do. Good luck.

There is only one solution, give it to me, i also live in Cali. No really though, Trim it as close to the bud as possible and hope the clubs don't see it. We all no you are just selling the majority of it anyways. People say it can cause lung problems but I've never ever seen it and I worked at a medical club for many years. Next time spray your babies with Eagle 22 and then again first week of flowering. You will never see that shit again. P.S. Neem oil aint worth a shit. Shit smells awful and does absolutely nothing. If anyone tells you to use that shit for anything kick em in the balls.

Where in Cali are you? All the big hydro stores in San Leandro carry it. It is a white milky liquid. You put 3 to 4ml of it in a gallon of water and spray your plants. It is called Eagle20 not 22.

That will do absolutely nothing. Once again keep putting a baby size bandaid on that flesh wound.

Uh wrong, search the forum and find the truth. Oh maybe you'd like a little proof and can't use google.... lets see... http://www.thefrugallife.com/mildew.html
Milk is another very effective spray for powdery mildew. Mix the milk at a ratio of one part of milk to nine parts of water and spray weekly. Do NOT go higher than 3 milk to 9 water or you’ll attract other fungus problems that want to feed on the milk. Skim milk works well as it contains no fat to turn rancid (and attract other problems that like the smell of rotting fats.)

Like i said it is a bandaid. The mildew will come back. It will do absolutely nothing if you are in flowering. Eagle is astemic and kills the mildew from inside the plant. Neem oil is like milk. It will control it but not get rid of it.

Like I will always say.....you know whats in that shit?
http://growerssolution.com/pdf/eagle%20msds.pdf
http://growerssolution.com/pdf/eagle label.pdf
Having said that its not even made for fruits or vegetables, its made for ornamental plants, go ahead put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Skim milk has been proven time and time again here on this forum and others. Correction, its states for use with 3 fruits.
Does the dude at your hydro store tell you theres a chemical that causes birth defects and also one that causes cancer included in your miracle cure for a simple little PM?

Listen hippy, the shit is out of the plant in 30 days. Should we all stop smoking weed cause it causes cancer alledgely? Keep smoking your mildewy ass weed and see what happens to you. Milk gives me the runs I'll stick with eagle. Again I would not spray them in flowering.

Get a sulfur burner/vaporizer. They use them in greenhouses to combat mold. You only need to treat twice in a plant's lifetime. The sulfur will leave a thin layer on leaves that really lowers the PH so mold can't grow.

As for moldy bud causing lung problems, BS.... The Federal Govt has done a study on primary and secondary smokes with tobacco that had acquired molds... none of the spores or toxins travel through the smoke. While I would not purposely smoke moldy bud, I would treat it. If the PM is bad and getting inside of the buds, do a water cure when you harvest. Do not try to dry them out. Fill a one gallon pitcher with wet/fresh bud and cover with luke warm water. Sit it in a dark place and lest rest for 24 hours. After 24 hours, pour water out and replace with fresh luke warm water. Repeat this for 6 days.

At the end, dry bud as normal, but maybe with some paper towels or a towel to catch initial dripping. The buds will dry rock hard, dark and highly smokeable, in 24-48 hours. I know this seems impossible, but it dries quicker after a water cure. A lot of toxins are washed away. The buzz level remains near the same. just do not use super hot or icy cold water. The trick is luke warm water. Do not cover first 2 days, to allow disolved toxins to evaporate.

You will lose a lil weight, however the resulting bud had no BS toxins or other crap from sprays, additives, etc. I used this method on dry bud that had PM appear overnight. It went from 6 oz in weight to about 3.5 oz.

Water curing does however, condense the weed. It also seems to make it stronger, buzz wize. Twice I have water cured and I enjoyed it better than it's counterpart.
