Don't worry it's natural. Foxfarm used to have this ? in the FAQs but not anymore.

here it is:

[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Should I be concerned if I notice fungi or mold growing on top of my soil after I apply Peace of Mind[SUP]®[/SUP] or Happy Frog[SUP]®[/SUP] fertilizers?[/FONT][FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Not at all. This is a normal condition. If fact, the fungi and mold are exactly what Peace of Mind[SUP]®[/SUP] and Happy Frog[SUP]®[/SUP] fertilizers should be creating. These are beneficial bacteria which help deliver nutrients to your plants. However, you can reduce the appearance of surface mold by mixing Peace of Mind[SUP]®[/SUP] or Happy Frog[SUP]®[/SUP] thoroughly into the top few inches of soil surface and water thoroughly. I'm using FFOF mixed with a bit of sunshine #4 for my new sprouts. I noticed a greyish/dull whiteish type of 'mold' on parts of the top of soil. Although different products than happy frog or peace of mind, could this be the "beneficial bacteria"? How would one tell? Better to be 'safe' and use ??? to get rid of it? If using peroxide, can it be the 3% and what ratio with water? 1oz per every 4oz?
