Mold precautions in a smaller space

I'm in the process of building my stealth dresser which is made of wood. I'm wondering if I should paint the inside with something like killz paint or something similar to keep mold from growing on the walls. I plan on lining the inside with Mylar anyway so is painting a waste of time or will it save me a hassle in the future?

Varnishing it first could help, but make sure its dry before putting the mylar over it
