Mold Probably... Can you please give opinions

Hello everyone.
So i will try to keep it as short as possible as i am in a very particular situation here.

So some general info.
I am away from home so i do not have any equipment really except from a grinder.
I live in a small island for some time for work and this weed is the only i have as things tend to spread around small places and i would not like for that to cause any problems with my work.
I think i got some moldy weed. Dealer is a great guy and will take it back or refund me if i take it back but with work starting i do not know if i will be able to take some time off.
Might be worth mentioning that the thing was packed for some time during the trip and seemed packed when i picked it up so could this just be crushed trics?
I smoked some of it yesterday. Did not realize until a bit after it could be, but up to now no symptoms, like harsh smoke, breathing issues, toilet issues or any of the other effects i have seen people describing.

So firstly i would like for you guys to confirm if the weed i got is moldy. It does have a weird smell but not exactly moldy, or at least not any mold i have ever smelled before. It does smell pretty herbal as well but with something else mixed in that i can not pinpoint.
It is easy-ish to crumble but i would not say too much, i have had great weed that was over dried and crumbled more.

Sadly i do not have my pocket microscope or w/e they are called so i can not really check myself and i dont think i can differentiate by eye.

I tried taking some pics with my phone and a magnifying glass and i will upload the best results i could get.

Secondly i would like to ask what can be done if this is indeed moldy.

I mean if i am not able to take it back is there a way to save it?
I would hate to waste money on that weed and remain without it for a long period of time.
I have heard that turning it to HBO would eliminate the problem. Have never done it before but i am willing to try.
What about turning it into hash? Would that work ? (alcohol and let it evaporate i guess?)
Any other solution you might think of? Very desperate and quick answers appreciated greatly as i want to contact the guy as soon as possible so he wont think i am trying to screw him over.

Really hard to tell from the shots you posted. Sometimes shit the grower uses can make the stuff smell wierd. The stuff doesn't look moldy to me based solely on the photos

I can see the little white spots barley in those image it does look like mold but better images would help. If your in doubt i would not risk it.

Thank you for the replies. It could be that i am a bit paranoid based on the smell and well me being a bit paranoid with what i inhale.
Would ground weed be more indicative or less?

I think the three last pics are the most indicative of what it looks like the buds have. The insides are not really much different from the outside but the stems seem to be full of small hair like things. Could these just be hair on the stem?

Also since i ground some of it to smoke yesterday, should i give my grinder a bath now or is there no reason for concern.

Too bad if i have to as i just washed it a couple of days before leaving.

Do you have a loupe or a scope? If not, I would recommend investing in even a cheap one. They are invaluable in diagnosing problems, checking trichs, and getting good advice. From what I can see, I can't say either way if what you have is mold.

Not to sound Hippy Dippy but use your intuition look at it smell it and if your instinct says mold then don't smoke it. It works for me somehow I can "sense" mold, I can find it even if it isn't apparent from the outside of the bud. I think it a survival instinct that us humans have developed to stay alive. Like sensing chicken that is slightly off.

If it is mold don't worry,mold needs oxygen so water cure it changing the water daily n you'll see the water colour change n ur pot will stay good but tbh aroma isn't there but the potency is so I bho the shit out of it but anyways u keep refilling the jar every few days till the water is totally clear then PROPERLY dry ur bud n if u bought it off someone tell him his shitty product is giving is indangering lives. Get a 60 to 100 magnifier on eBay for like 3e so u get a better idea but I'll take a closer look now at the pics but the buds do look solid maybe shit got 2 dense n mold formed or his intake may of introduced em I'd sooner my the magnificent than a blend light as it's a fraction of the price n mold is easy to identify...do ur buds smell kinda like ammonia?

I do have a loupe but as i said i am away from home and i never thought i might need it here. Problem is i have absolutely no idea where i could find one around here and ebay will take ages to send one... small island comes with a set of problems.

Same for intuition, on one hand it does not seem too bad on the other i got the idea stuck on my head i seem to spot things all the time that could not be as serious as i make the out to be, when i think about it.

I did buy the stuff and the guy did actually tell me he thought it smelled funny but he looked it over and it seemed ok.
He offered to wait a bit so he could be sure but i had to pack for leaving so i just took the chance.

If i have to throw it away i will but it seems such a waste.
Theslipperbandit, as per your suggestion i water cure it and the mold will die but the taste will as well?
I dont mind that, plus its not gonne be forever, and the job can get stressful so a nice relaxation even without the taste will be a nice change of pace.
Any particular tips in water curing with mold? or in general. Have never done it before so its a bit daunting for me, but i guess better try and fail than do nothing.

So after a couple of days of frustrationa nd not knowing what to do, since google gave a definitive answer to waht can be done to moldy weed (nothing can be done safely ), i found a guide to using a laser lens with a smartphone for macro photography.

Now as you can understand this is a quick and dirty way of doing things so images came out a bit blurry but everything seems to be ok.
Still if you could be bothered once more to confirm that as well i would be very glad. A trained and experienced opinion means a lot and you guys could spot something i could totally have missed.

Anyway here are the pics and again thnx for everything.

I've never personally water cured but I've read on it incase my shit ever get mold but I've hydrometers in my jar so I keep burping till she's about 55% thats a good cure zone any less she may no longer cure so hopefully a propper cure may help or no the stuff man best advice I can give is change the water regularly till she's clear n ur grand

How does the plant smell again?

Mold needs a few things to survive oxygen being one.

Yeah i know like i said it was pretty hard to take pics with onehand holding a phone and the other a tiny lens that i had to keep steady and at the right height so it would focus. But despite the quality some of it is clear i think and these were the pieces i thought were the moldiest, but zoomed in it seems like its pistils and... well... pistills without heads some of them . Maybe they packed it too much ?

As i said i googled a lot and it turns out neither water curing nor bho can completely remove the risk of mold.
In any case, small island not much that canbe done here i could not even find a loupe so i think finding all the equipment for bho would be quite hard.

Anyway seems like all is good. I will try to devise a method to keep the lens ont he phone steadily so i can take some clearer shots just to be extra safe but i think i am good.
