hi guys & gals my question is do any of you growers use , mollasses in a wilma hydro system,or any hydro system. and if you do how much per ltr of water ? thanks for any advice

If you use molasses in hydro you must have some sort of way for it to decompose, or else it just pollutes the res. So if you use molasses and keep a sterile res you are wasting your time. If you do not keep a sterile res, you are inviting disease. Molasses, if used at all, is best used with beneficial microbes. There are also hydro products available which are essentially molasses that has already been broken down and is ready for the hydro res.

if youre in hydro, itd just be easiest to keep things synthetic (think GH).

molasses is going to invite bacteria and possibly clog your pump.

Does molasses go bad? I have some but the date is waaaay past. I've heard though it never really goes bad... input?
