My mom found my pipe one time when she was helping me move into another apt at school. She was kinda tipsy and told me she rearranged my room for fun (she's an interior designer)....anyways my mother and I were in my room and she was showing me what she did when I noticed the 1 pipe I hid behind my bed was missing. I started looking around infront of her with a look on my face like "where the fuck is it????". She says to check my jacket pocket in the closet....low and behold it was there. Thought she was pissed then she laughs, looks at me with somewhat glazed red eyes and says, "it's cute". Then I told her I got it from the virgin islands and that made her like it more. I asked her why she wasn't mad and she said because my G.P.A was excellent and I wasn't dealing then I wasn't in trouble....Fucking awesome mom. Love her.
sorry to hear about your mom catching you. Just try to be cool about it with her. Everyone knows if it wasn't illegal no one in the fucking world would give a fuck about getting high. Hope all goes well bro.

dont feel bad bro my rents caught me dealing when i was 16. they didn't cry though. ALOT of ummm harsh words were thrown around. lol They got over it, and your mom will too. don't buy her anything though.. DEF apologize for the reasons everyone stated. i.e putting them in danger as well as yourself (not that IMHO there is any real danger in just smoking in your home) but you never know. And def. don't stop. your an adult. just go smoke outside or in your car in your driveway.

Ahh the memories my mom walked in on me exhaling a hit out my window one night when i was a senior in high school, (sigh) I got a "what the hell is wrong with you" talk, it made for an extremely weird couple of days but she got over it, a couple of weeks later its like it never even happened. my advice dont worry it seems bad now but as they say "time heals all wounds"

nothing wrong w/buying mom, anything (chocolates if that's her things, although I think a nice floral bouquet is ideal unless she's allergic or don't like flowers) but anyway, lol, just don't do it where it seems tied to what just happened. I'd wait a few days, even better a week, then give "it/them" to her and when she says...what's this for, tell her simply, just because I love you

I'm still thinking this might be your best option, I mean best case scenario you get laid and it makes your relationship even better and you will get to see her in a whole new way and I bet if you do it right she will stop complaining about you smoking...and worse case she will get weirded out that your trying to bang her and she will worry about that instead of about you smoking. It could be awkward if she doesn't go for it and you might have to move out but your a man now and if she won't give it up you should probably move out anyways.

I was wondering how old you were too. For your mom to be crying about you smoking pot at 18 kinda blows my mind.. My mom didn't care for it when I was 16, but now I am 21 and we joke about it, she now knows pot isn't going to make me nuts every time I smoke it like she was taught. Just a different generation..

The first time I got caught, I snorted xanax after school, and had to eat dinner with them. It was my first time being high on anything. I was 12, maybe 13? I dunno, but I do know that she kept screaming at me asking if I was high? And then I would scream back NO! And trip over crumb on the floor. I actually shattered a plate that night. anyways, I woke up the next morning with her crying at my bed-side about how I shouldn't get involved in that shit and how she knew I was high, and then my dad called and asked me what I took and blah blah.. I just told them I took xanax. the problem was that I smoked the day after before my dad called and I kept laughing at him talking to me about his druggie past and he was like LMAO your high right now aren't you? And then I just chuckled and said "Maaayybbbbeeeeeeee :3" My advantage was that both of my parents smoked weed everyday at one point, my dad was an alcoholic, where as my mom and her friends were more into the psychedelics and weed. I found her stash a couple years later and almost jizzed my pants. I saw a vile and a 'big ass' WHOLE HALF OUNCE OHH MYYY GOOODDD!!!!! AHHHHHH!! That was very much to me at the time lol then I smoked some and I couldn't believe my mind.. I realized what I had been missing out on and never really got skeeted again 
My mom was NEVER chill with it, and whenever I went to my dads house we would unload and drink some beverages or whatever and have in debth conversations about acid trips and life while playing those really old strategy games like empire earth etc... My mom cought me many many times and never cried in front of me about it again besides the first time, she wasn't okay with it until I moved out. Of course my dad only drank with me when I was older in high school. I only got lucky enough to smoke with him a couple times at my uncles house out in the country where we would ALL put out weed and alcohol together and just have a night full of non rememberance, and never bring up the fact that either father or sun had weed again. I really had a good relationship with my dad about it. Still do.
Just know that your mom smokes too. lmao, you think she doesn't but she does. Or has and liked it at one point. Just like everyone else, you and your mom have grown up your whole life hearing how weed ruins your life, and your mom just enforces that because thats really what kinda happens until you come to the point where you finally 'get your shit together' its possible to do both.. Just know that weed isnt the bad decision, the bad decisions are the bad decisions.

Lol I remember once my dad had to drive a friend home and we were both just obviously baked out of our minds. And my friend for the life of him couldn't remember where his house wa, and he didn't know that my dad didn't care so he was all paranoid, and me and my dad were up there smiling at eachother and hes just shaking his head and turns on this one animal collective cd that is just meant for tripping you out. And then micheal just he would say something like UH, I thhiinkk you turn right? And my dad would say 'You think I have to turn right?' And then micheal would say something like "NO! I know you gotta turn right I think.." It was all just hillarious because none of us had any idea where he lived.. Except for his high ass. Then when he gets out of the car, my dad goes "HAVE FUN GETTING CAUGHT!" Laughing his ass off as we drove off, then micheal called me and asked what I was doing for a couple hours before he went home, and my dad turned around and picked him up and we just stayed at my house until he wasn't too high to go home anymore lol
Too bad micheal turned out to be an asshole later on
