Mom from hydro to soil questions

I have 1 mom about 2ft. Currently in ebb and flow trays.

I want to move her to soil, will this be ok?

Any tips on how to make it successful?

Any soil suggestions/mixes you guys recommend. I'm a hydro guy so not too familiar with soil.

She is currently in hydroton

I'd take some cuts for a new host plant, then get them going in soil. Then flower out the mom.

That kind of transplant is sketchy at best, do the clone route.
