Mom's Cancer Grow

Hey everyone!

I have been growing some plants for my mother who is going through chemo therapy right now. They are nearing the end so I figured I would share them with all of you. I have one Northern Lights growing indoors under CFLs and one Bubblelicious growing outdoors. Both are in Canna coco and being fed with the full Canna line of nutes. They are 9 weeks old and about 4 weeks into flower. The NL has a bit of a pH issue(too low) right now which is why it is so purple but I am in the process of correcting it.

here the are! NL is the short one and Bubblelicious is the tall one.

All the best for your mum mate, I have been their, gave my mum some RS oil when she had cancer, the effect was incredibly immediate, she got the giggles, munchies and nausea was completely gone, like no one could believe what a fucked up sick cruel bunch rules our world that prohibits this miracle.

I am sorry for your loss. She was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer in May. Surgery and chemo have taken care of the liver spots so far and now they are doing radiation and more chemo to tackle the colon. Prognosis is all positive though. We Are lucky enough to live in a state with a world renowned hospital with a cutting edge cancer center. She is such a straight laced person that it was probably the funniest thing I have ever seen the first time I had her hit the bong hahaha. The relief she gets from it is quite remarkable.

thank you are for your kind words and well wishes!

Hey Guys! figured I would give an update! Plants are 11 weeks old now. I think I was wrong before because they are more like 7 or 8 weeks into flower now. Northern Lights is doing quite well if I do say so myself! It is probably the best plant I have ever grown. It is so frosty that I sometimes worry that it is mold haha. Gave it a high PK feeding last week and started backing off on nutes this week. The buds are really swelling up now. I scoped the trichs and I would say it needs another 2-2.5 weeks. Bubblelicious is another story. It hasnt packed of much mass because my back yard doesnt provide enought hours of direct sunlight. On top of that we have had a lot of rain this month and it has a slight case of bud rot. I am going to emergency harvest this weekend so I dont lose the whole plant.

Take a Look! the first three are Nl and the last 2 are Bubblelicious.

Have you considered making bho and growing high cbd strains? I have heard of people curing cancer with extracts, but I don't think simply smoking flower will cure it from what I've read... although at least it does have the effect of munchies, anti-nausea, etc.

For 1 gram of oil per day, and getting 15% BHO return, harvest 14oz every 2 months if my stoner math is correct. I have read a lot of cases of the cancer being gone in 4 - 6 months... but of course that is just what some stoner (me) has read on the internet.

Bubblelicious and especially Northern Lights are Indica dominant and there for are higher CBD strains. So yes to your first question. And to your second question, yes as well. The bubblelicious doesnt have much in the way of smokable buds but luckily whatever buds it has produced, as well as the leaves, are very resinous so I do plan on making BHO with it. I will probably make it with the NL trim but those buds are too pretty not to smoke haha.

Harvested the Bubblelicious last week due to mold and weather. The buds were small and fluffy so I gave it a rough manicure and just made some lovely BHO out of the whole plant. Came out really well. NL is still trucking along. Thinking it may be ready to chop this weekend but I am worried its before its peak. This is my first indoor grow to make it to harvest. All my other ops have been guerrilla grows and mold has determined my harvest times. I dont want to harvest a second too early. Trichs are mostly milky with some amber. Let me know what you think.

Hey everyone,

I harvested the NL today. Figured I'd show everyone what it ended up with. This is the best plant I have ever grown. I got more from it than my last outdoor op with three plants. Hopefully with this I have finally moved from rookie to novice haha. Wet weight with stems was like 9 ounces so once its dried, cured, and removed from the larger stems I will probably be left with and ounce maybe 2.
