Now you never need to post again cos Iv covered youre whole range.

My dear Harrek no need for attempting to be nice to me at this point

These complements while refreshing are unnecessary.

And they seem to be a bit confusing for you.

Dear Doer,

My dear friend, I do like you, I just think you get high off the smell of you're own shit sometimes.

Now that is the dirty little secret taught in Escape & Evasion Training, ittn it?

Not surprising to me you know all about it, Shotgun. :)

Money is politics and politics is war, since war is resources and money.

Politics is "war" only to those that don't understand war.

War is about will. The willingness to endure, regardless of cost. The side willing to endure the most, for the longest time, wins...unless they are eliminated.

Politics is about bullshit and pretense.

Limitations placed on campaign funding is a simple matter and can be easily, and uniformly, applied to all candidates.

A campaign schedule consisting of radio, television, and printed media interviews can be created using a bracket system as done in sporting events.

It wouldn't be difficult at all.

Sad how "we" refuse to learn from the mistakes of the past and refuse to evolve our governing principles and techniques.

It seems everyone but the Neo-Con shills want to take the money out of politics.

A promising development indeed.

War is about bullshit.

He is just not up to speed on his Clausewitz, is he?

"War is the continuation of Politik by other means." Carl Baron von Clausewitz.

(Politik being variously translated as "policy" or "politics", terms with very different implications), a description that has won wide acceptance.)

If you think all of that has not been tried and challenged before SCOTUS, how very wrong you are.

Associations of people arnt afforded voting rights, individuals are. Should the individuals associate and use their vote in blocs then its a different story, but the claim a Corporation is representative of its many parts is foolish.

I believe the underlying logic, when this started in the 19th century, was based on how "corporations" were practical unions in and of themselves at the time--and don't forget about the Masons, the veritable "internet" of the day, acting as a bloc in their own manner. Obviously, over 200 years things have changed. Yet, the errors of anachronism are compounded with legislation such as "citizens united".
So, I agree, in retrospect, the idea of corporate personhood has little relation today to what it was back then.

Does the idea need to be repealed entirely? No. In the case of criminal proceedings or taxation purposes, there is utility derived from the concept. But to the extent which it has gone, as far as power is concerned, there needs to be an overhaul of the legislated rights afforded to them.

The only question there is, "what rights?"
