talkin to a buddy yesterday i heard a story about cloning a plant using a bud instead of a branch (whats the technical phrase for that? branch?) anyway, the kid says that its not especially uncommon and the whole plant will simply grow into a huge bud.

sounds fishy to me, ive never come across it before. any validity or can i call bullshit on it?

You can take a clone from a plant in flower, even if the tip is a small bud... but only if it's early in the flowering process, if you cut off a bud and stick it in the ground your will get, a rotten piece of plant material. It's a load of bs dude.

LOL, that the funniest thing i have heard all week. "it grows into a huge bud". Think about it...if that was the case everyone would be doing it and we wouldnt be worrying about the veg stage.

How far along can it be in the flowering process? Mine are currently outdoors, they are aprox 2.5 months total life. When I started out I knew nothing about light cycles and the first month I had it cycled at 14 on,10 off. ( They started out indoors, were moved outdoors around 25 days. )
