monster cropping?

Monster cropping, Not to be confused with super cropping...

I heard that it is easier to increase your yields and how bushy your plants are by monster cropping.

1) how long do you have to flower your plant before you reveg it?

2) anyone have any experience monster cropping? If so what did you think of it? Was it worth the wait?

Thinking about doing it to each strain since I run a sog style. Be easy for flower a plant and re veg it for a new mum

I am trying it right now, I took a cutting at three weeks into flowering, 5 weeks later it's is just starting to grow out. To late for photos today so I will post a starting photo.

The 2-3 weeks into flower pick some clones . They'll take longer than your normal ones . Veg them out and watch them take off . Until you witnessed the power of monster cropping you will not clone any other way ! My fjrst is a liberty haze in flower right now. She's a beast / monster !

It's not necessarily going to increase your yields.

But in general it's easiest just to flower a plant and use the bottom branches you trim off as clones to reveg and monster crop. Usually I wait til about 2-3 weeks into flower. NOT after 12/12. True flower. Like, get some buds forming on the things.

Some strains just don;t do well with multiple colas. My OG's actually lose weight when you bush 'em out too much and don't give them enough veg time. They like 2 colas. It's just how they run.

Some run different. I'm trying to find a pheno as we speak that likes to be monster cropped. Heavy indicas in general tend to lend themselves better to it, as most sativas usually prefer that single heavy cola. All strains run different though, so you just have to experiment and see.

That's half the fun of growing...

So taking clones in flower is monster cropping? Or is there more to it? I'm not familiar with the technique..

Once a monster cropped clone has rooted and began vegging once it becomes a plant of the vegerative state and a clone is taken from it will it too hav3 the vigorious growth? Or at that point will it just have same genetics as mom and lose the monstercrop benefit?

image.jpg image.jpg About 7 weeks old.
my second attempt, the first started building up dead leaves.
I think I am taking it to early and I am using a Sativa Dom plant so probably not gonna work.

It does create a Bonsai to keep your strain.

Here's one I took as a clone at 2 weeks of flower...

Revegged it for 2 weeks just until new growth started forming...

Then shoved it right back into 12/12. Just wanted to see what would happen. I like experimenting, lol.

It's... interesting... I'll get an updated pic tonight when the lights come on. This pic was like a week and a half ago, I believe. Lights come on in 3 hours, I'll show you what it looks like now, lol.
