I vegged these beauties using supplemented light for three months until the solstice. No signs of flower yet. I’ve been giving veg nutes and molasses. Havent switched to flower nutes yet. Any tips to make them grow even better and healthier?? Anything i can give them that will prepare them for the flower stage. For veg nutes i’m using Botanicare Pure blend pro grow, and the molasses is from earth juice. Planted using happy frogs soil.

I've used Pure Blend on grows in the past. I'm not sure if it has all the micro nutrients. You'd have to research that. I supplement with Botanicare CalMag+, Easy Weed kelp, Humic/Fulvic concentrate, and RAW silica powder. I read some articles posted by someone on RIU about humics having negative effect on THC production during flower, so I won't apply that during flower.

For additional micros if needed, I use CytoPlus. I'm using GH Flora nutes for now, so I don't supplement with Cytoplus.

Where I am, there are lots of bug pests. I apply neem, spinosad, and BT as foliar spray and root drench. I stop foliar sprays after budding starts. Apply these after sunset. If the leaves are wet with these with sunlight on them, they will burn badly. I include 1/2 strength nutes in the foliar applications.

Good luck! Peace:peace:

I use the same nutes that I feed them.

When I make the neem and/or spinosad spray mix, I add in the other nutes at a reduced rate...like 1/2 strength. I use a mixing attachment on a high speed drill to mix well. If you don't have that, you can use something else to mix as good as you can, but I got the mixing attachment pretty cheap at Harbor Freight. I apply with a Bauer electric sprayer, also from Harbor Freight. If you don't have that, just use a hand pumped sprayer, but the electric sprayer is definitely a game changer.

Application is every one to two weeks, depending on weather. I try to apply on a dry evening when there is no rain forecast for at least 2 or 3 days. I apply just after sunset, when there is no direct sunlight on the plants. If you do it when there is light directly on the plants, it will burn the shit out of the leaves.

The neem and spinosad I use needs an emulsifier to mix with water. I use 1tsp/gal Dawn concentrated dish soap and 1oz/gal neem oil. You've got to mix the neem in really well. If you're using a hand pump sprayer, put the mix in there with half the required water, shake the shit out of it, add the rest of water and nutes, then shake again. After I'm satisfied that it's mixed well, then I spray AFTER SUNSET (i cannot stress that enough).

Also, i spray on underside of leaves first. Then, I go for a second pass and spray tops of leaves.

I recommend that you do it at sunset. You can do it before sunrise, but there's more risk that it will be wet on the leaves and exposed to sunlight, which will burn the leaves. I only do it at sunset, never at sunrise.

Okay i’ll do it later today! Will this help with grasshoppers? I’ve never had a problem with them until today. One of them just munched on a plant.

How do you make your seaweed solution? And how often do you give it to your plants? I definitely want to give it a try!

hi, i make it up acording to the instructions, 12 a cap per gallon and feed them it any time i like, you can feed them with it without fear of overfeeding your plants. its used as a plant supliment, so its like adding a PK boost to your grow, only naturaly instead of monopotassium phosphate. its also a plant tonic and gheneral all over pernacka sp?
