Is this guys case just being used as precedence for future federal trials? It's a reminder that it's not as wide open as some people would like to believe. Perhaps his flaunting was a bit much? Any thoughts?

I call it ignorance, maybe someone else would call it something else but I like to call them how I see them. the huge backyards full of weed , that's just asking for trouble.huge plant counts when we all know good and well those are bullshit, nobody needs 50 plants unless they're a cash cropper and that's the one's the feds will be looking for. Having said all that the feds are full of shit and should back the fuck up. and 80 years? people kill children and get much less time.

I don't care how legal I am, I'm never inviting cops and politicians to see my grow. But just like db said, the Feds need to catch on. Before long half the states will be medical at least, I predict.

Now I'm not questioning your belief in a legal cannabis, but give me a fucking break.Flaunting? I'm not trying to hear that shit from anyone. This dude was growing under state MMU laws. I saw the video with my own fucking eyes. Locals, cops and even a UNITED STATES SENATOR, have came by to help and show support.

when you're big you get the feds attention. yes flaunting. just like the local guy here a few years back. mmj was just getting real big and this guy had a huge grow at his house in the basement. so what's he do? he invites fox news over for an tour and interview . they did a live interview at the house and a few moments later the feds are kicking in the door. you mentioned flaunting and as in my other post I call it something totally different IF you don't keep your shit in an underground status. ignorance.
This dude went on fox news boasting how he was gonna make half a million growing weed out of his fucking basement, cmon man, get real , that is just flaunting it and also very fucking ignorant. that guy us currently serving 5 years. just say no to ignorance, use your head people whether your'e "legal" or not.
Another story, a guy right here on riu posting his huge sog backyard with plants in the 8 foot range, whole fucking back yard, now in colorado I think most people when they voted for mmj didn't expect neighbors to create a nuisance with a huge goddamn grow in their backyard, this isn't california. It's common sense colorado.

awesome, it's gotten 4 more sigs since looked at it yesterday. the one about letting texas form it's own country gt 115k or so within days.

Its a disturbing amount of legal trouble and time...beyond comprehension.

That said, what the hell was he thinking acting the way he did. I have never seen something so brazen and begging to get raided in my life. He got way too caught up in the thing. I really think they had no choice but to bust him with him acting like that, inviting cops and media....they are not going to stand for being taunted and embarassed. This is still a thing that needs to be hidden, and kept humble. Look at Marc Emery....he threw it in the faces of law enforcement, and made it personal, and look what happened.

I feel so bad for his family dealing with this, how awful.
