More females during germination...?

Buenos Dias!

If I remember correctly from my insane amount of studying, blue light will help generate more females.

With CFLs to germinate...if a second light (a blue party bulb) was added, would this help increase the number of females?

I also read that cooler temps help promote female development, the germination area ranges from 61F at night to 70F during the day. Any truth to this? If so, are those temps ok? I would assume a domed and lit tray would increase germination temp slightly. The hypothetical nursery would be in the same area., but 400HPS area would have an exhaust fan.

I am now looking at non-feminised seeds so I would hypothetically have a variety...the DWC set-up supports four medicinal plants at a time.

Please let me know your thoughts or experiences.

... i usually ad a little heat to the germination process to speed things up... the heat acts as a catalist and the seed will germinate in 24-48hrs. I really dont think anything during the germination process has something to do with the chances of getting females.... yes blue lights/ lower temps promote female traits during vegging

Thanks for crazy quick reply! In conjunction with a 400HPS light, would 2 60watt, blue party bulbs help during vegging. During the germination/early veg, I bet one blue bulb wouldn't hurt.

Another question, instead of CFLs for germination, I read the 400HPS could be used if hung 3ft above the seeds. True? The germination would be done in Jiffy discs...then moved to 5in net pots with clay ball media.
