More Light needed? Lowryder/kush and Durban Poison

Hi there, I have started another grow recently. I start all my plants off inside a modified pc case, I have two 35w cfl (125w real wattage) one Daylight and One soft 2700k, they give off 1550lumens each.

I have one durban poison and one lowryder x afghan kush growing under these. One week in and the difference in growth between the two is very noticeable. I know lowryder is a dwarf but should it be that far behind the DP which seems to be growing great.

I have included some pictures. The lowryder is on the right ;)

Nothing wrong there. Some seeds just grow quicker than others. If you planted 20 seeds some would grow quicker than others, and none will be the exact same size.

The bigger plant might just be getting more 6500k light than the smaller one.
Switch the plants around every day to get even light to each.

Cheers, I move them around every couple of hours to ensure a better coverage, I was looking at adding another 20w to the setup for some more lumens, I think for the size of grow area the lumen output is sufficient?

Light and temp, you can get CFS's right down as close as you can. This will also warm the soil, and start pop'in the seeds out of the ground. lowryder seeds, depending on the generation are fairly stable. I have them pop up in 3 to 5 days. The breeders say just place them in soil at the right temp and they will all pop up. If the seeds are old you may have a lower % of germ. I grow the Masterlow Strain and it works fine. They are staying around 12 to 18 inches with a quarter OZ a plant. Which is good for me. I'm not a hard core smoker, its just for a little R & R now and then.
