I usualy run two lights in a 8x10 and my buds are fluffy , I was wondering if I run 4 lights in the same 8x10 would this give me the higher yield with denser more potent nugs.....

The Martian speaks the truth. It's probably 50% genetics, 30% proper environment (which your lacking) and 20% growe skill and diligence.

i don't think it's strictly a light issue tbh, as in my opinion, the plants that would be closer to the lights should still be nice and tight and the ones further from the lights would be a bit looser the further from the lights they go..

lose buds could be from a number of things, ime, high heat is number one cause for lose buds, second being genetics...

its 30-50 watts per square foot for veg. 50-75 watt per square foot for flower.

Also take into account what racer said cause he nailed it

I believe you nailed it and many growers overlook this.
High temps to me (when growing Indica dominant strains) is anything over 85 degrees, lights on.
When my temps average around 75, my plants reach their maximum potential, not only are the buds more dense and firm, my yield is much better.
