Hey everyone,
I haven't seen much on hydroponically grown Purple Jems (auto flowering mazar lowryder hybrid) so I decided to share my experiences with the community. I received 10 Purple Jems seeds today and they are germinating as I type. I went through Dope-Seeds and would recommend this site to anyone as Jim really works hard to please his customers. My system as is follows-
DIY Bubbleponic 10 gal
Flouros for first two weeks
400 watt hps for 7 weeks afterwards.
Botanicare Nutes (pro-grow, pro-bloom, and liquid karma)

I will be posting pics and updating weekly (hopefully) so stay tuned.

Nope, this will be my first time with AFs. Im assuming its going to be easier than non-autos but you never know. This is also my first purple pheno! Im stoked to see how it turns out. :-D

Yeah, the little box that the seeds came in said that the THC content is 11-14%. Thats about the norm for AFs.

Just ordered mine 5minutes ago and your right Jim at dope-seeds is the best it's the only place I trust i've dealt with him before on ordering all the other AF's and they have the cheapest prices,I look foward to your grow man i'll be here regularly checkin in.G/L

Whats up yall? Just an update cause I said ill update every week. So, my DIY grow cab and DWC was really fun to make. I have to say, it came out very impressively. The seeds took a while to germ, but now they are on their way and are about 2-3 inches in height in the DWC. I'll be posting pics as soon as i get my camera charged up. They are under three 26 watt CFLs right now, soon to be under either a 250watt MH or 400watt.

Whats up Palmer!If i was you i would get an HPS set-up instead of MH it would be far better since you are doing autoflowers! And if you get a 400w HPS you could always get a 250w MH down the road for your regular veg. cycle! we need some pics man, i got the same strain im about to plant. you can see my stealth dresser build in my sig. and i will be posting up a journal on my purple jems!:bigjoint: you got the 400w and i gotta stay cfl, but we are both DWC! hope everything goes great:leaf::leaf:

Yeah man, actually it's a MH HPS conversion. I agree, the HPS will be better for flowering time. Im planning on running a 250w maybe 400w MH for a couple weeks and then when they start showing sex I'll switch to the 400w HPS. Pics will be coming soon!

Sounds awesome man! the conv. set-up is a better alternative then buying two! ha, what is your deminsions of your cab??? temps, humidity, res. temp.? and if you dont mind what kind of nutrients are you running?

The dimensions are 3ft long by 2ft wide by 3 ft in height. The temp fluctuates between 70-78, which i am trying to regulate to be around 72. Mossy was saying that the purple comes out deeper when the temperatures are a little lower. The res temp is usually around 65. Humidity is at 45% right now. Nutes are bontanicare Bloom, Grow, and Liquid Karma. Right now I have 1/4th the amount they recommend for seedlings using JUST liquid karma which is something like .5 .1 .1 NPK.

nice! i am hoping to upgrage my little cab with a 150w in the future! all your numbers are looking great, i want to see some pics man:bigjoint:!!! my res. is staying up around 70 and my temps are a little bit higher than yours im excited tho for your grow cause your working with better lighting! keep up the great work palmerbongsmilie

Whats up guys. I promise i'll get some pics going soon i'm just being lazy and haven't gotten around to it yet. Update for the week: Just set up the 400w MH today, the girls are loving it. There were some yellow leaves here and there but ever since I upped the nutrients and put in the MH for a couple hours they are starting to go green. I feel like the growth has been slow up until this point but the roots just hit water so im hoping things will speed up. One of the girls is really lagging (the runt) and was looking almost dead, but has since decided to perk up a bit. 20 hours on 4 hours off the whole way through. Stay tuned.

i picked those up to. i thought they would be alot faster growing i germed last weekend put in rapid rooters and only 1 has popped up out and opened up so far i havent done anything any dif for them heatmat the whole shabang did your do this
