mmmm how so? i might be able to explain the importance of the things you'd like to remove. For instance, the base/collector capacitor on the preamp is merely to clean up the tone. Using the given value or one of greater capacitance of the cap on the preamp emitter give it a bigger boost capability and a more full tone. then the passive tone control is pretty wide range. i do agree the tone could be cut back to a more simple version but what-the-heck lol muffing the tone is pretty sweet imo

Your right thought it was a different pedal. Didn't see the name. There is a few things you could change tho without sacrifice.

well the plan was 250$ a pop on reverb.com but i i havent started building. obviously i can come down in price a fair amount. ill go ahead and follow you and show you how they turn out when theyre done, see if you are still interested or just feel like gear talking lol
let me see the finished box also.. could be interested
