Auto diesels are probably not even from real diesel genetics, sorry.cant wait for my auto diesels to get here..5 fems starting in 2 weeks...whoowho bring on the StankStank!
any proof to this, bc based on research after research and pic after pic and smoke report after smoke report, it seems the auto diesels stink and taste on the level of the original..Now they MAY not be as potent, but what auto strain is....Auto diesels are probably not even from real diesel genetics, sorry.
thanks for clarifying that up! I appreciate your wisdom on the matter...I learn something everyday here, and thats what I am here for! You are exactly right on your assumptions, and I understand them completely. It is NYC diesel, and I should have stated that. However, u still caught me something! LOL Im still looking forward to my grow coming up, and the one finishing now! I expect they will take care of what I need them to do.The original diesel came from a seed found in a pound of self pollinated chem/dog from colorado. There is no male version of the plant, any seeds must be from a cross at best, so basically if its from seed its not real diesel. Even to make a cross you would have to have access to an original diesel cutting, which I doubt your seed company did. I'm guessing your beans diesel genetics come from Somas version of Diesel, NYC Diesel(not the real diesel, but not bad either, its been described as more citrusy and indica based than the original).
You can absolutely get sour d in seed form the same way that the infamous ounce of chem dog got seeds in it! Any experienced breeder with access to clone only elites can stress the cut until it grows some good ol nanners and self pollinates. Then you grow out those seeds and select males that have the right characteristcs and back cross and again and again until you start ta get fairly uniform and predictable results from each seed. Not an easy thing to accomplish but good breeders do it and some do it very well! The original diesel came from a seed found in a pound of self pollinated chem/dog from colorado.
