Most stable fem seeds..?

Ok so I don't have the room to a veg are and flower. So I was thinking about using my place to run a sog grow from seed. So doing this I would want to grow fem seeds since it would cut my problem of males down a bit. Which seed company do you think makes the most stable fem seeds... I was trying to grow out a blueberry headband fem seed. But this is growing like crap and don't know if it would be a good idea to get seeds from this plant... I have a afghani that is doing great outside but haven't flipped it yet to know what it will be...any brands that come to mind would be cool for a 3x3 sog grow under a 400/600 hps

The economics of the seed market are weighed heavily against stabilizing so almost nobody spends the time and effort. In addition to the high demand for the hot/hyped strain of the year, folks who make seeds to plant their next crop instead of making cuts are a distinct minority.

As far as stability goes its a toss up. Fems are fucked. Grow reg bean and turn her into a mother if you want to sog.
As stated I don't have the room to have a veg area... So if I stuck to making my own few seeds it might be more stable then buying them?

There are some people who may grasp to a notion that fems arent good, but ok...

Check out Female Seeds, C99 is one of their most popular strains.
Sweet Seeds, Ganesh Spirit, Psicodilecia, Green Poison, and Wild Rose are all good strains.

Please do explain how fems are fucked up!
oh sure, well fem seeds have been sprayed with a mutagen that makes them produce one set of chromasomes from what i hear. Science. Not normal breeding by any definition of the word normal. From what i know first hand is that fem seeds like to hermaphrodite, and they can be really tough to clone off of. I take double of the one strain i run because even with 95-100% clone success on the reg bean plants, i only have 50% with this stupid fem bean plant. Every time. Many expirienced growers also swear against them and some seed companies dont even offer them because theyre nfg.

I pretty much use fem's exclusively (lazy, i guess) and I've never had any issues with any of the dozen or more strains that I've run from Herbie's.

World of seeds, delicious seeds, and nirvana fems have all produced nice stable plants for me. Never a hermie issue and always fem. Cloned and monster cropped too

WTF are you talking about?

"from what I hear." ...really?

Please advise how many fem seeds you've grown out, and the percent of the population that herm'd. I've grown over 100 fem seeds, and had three produce male qualities. I've also done long runs doing clone-only from fem WW plants, and I'm currently doing a grow where I'm flowering sixth generation clones from a Cotton Candy fem seed.

Put up evidence instead of spewing shit.

I prefer to use standard seeds (and create them), but I'm not against fem seeds, nor am I against making them using a "mutagen" (Colloidal Silver).

Do what ya gotta do but hands down a cloned batch will bring you more weight, better quality and a result you can Depend on.Hope ya dont get a Herm....

Yeah until I can find someone doing a good price on clones out here I will do seeds.... I've seen few people on Craigslist that sell clone as low as $5. But I hear horror stories about random clones from random people....even the clubs...I hear the clone are not what they say they are

feminzing seeds does nothing to the dna nor the chromosomes of the plant.. spraying a plant with a chemical such as collodial silver only prevents the plant from producing the hormone needed to grow male stamen, and instead the plant will now grow female pistilite flowers instead..
a feminized seed, or any seed, for that matter, will only be as true or stable as the parent it comes from.. if the parent(s) tend to go hermie, the hermie trait, being dominant, rather than recessive, will show up in a large percentage of it's offspring, but again, this has nothing to do with the feminizing process, just rather parents that are unstable..
some strains are known to be hermie prone, hmm, like og kush, east coast sour diesel, and a whole slew of others as well.. breeders have tried to work these lines, and get rid of the hermie trait, but it's not so easy. so sometimes crosses made from such strains will have a greater chance of throwing a nanner then a line that was created from stable parents..

very, very common.. you might think you're growing x, and 3 months down the line you find out that x wasn't even close to being x..
not to mention the chances of bringing in things like bugs and or diseases from clones from an outside source are pretty high as well..

I just had another fem seed herm TODAY. Clayton came over and i was like, "oh shit!, not again!" Northernlights blue. Dj shorts blueberry crossed with northernlights 5. Im going to spray switch on all my plants in a minute. Ill never buy another feminised seed for as long as i live. Thats a promise, those shitty fuckers have peckered two harvests in a row. Good thing its chronic but ive had enough of this crap.
