Mother on a Turntable ?

Hi ya :)

No this has nothing to do with MILF DJ's :mrgreen:

I have a question , I have a " Display Turntable " that was used to display Bonzi Trees , It rotates at 2rpm and i was wondering if it would be ok to keep a Mother plant on it in a growing station ?

Would it have any effect on growth or overall health of the mother ? , I'm thinking it may allow more light penitration to the whole of the plant ... But i allso wonder if it might have some kind of negative effects ?

Anyone ever done this ?... herd of anyone who done it ?... what was the effect ?

Any input is welcome :)

Haven't heard of this before, but it doesn't sound like it would hurt. The only problem might be if the top gets too heavy and starts to tip over, but at 2 rpm I highly doubt you will see any "brick in the washer" effect. It seems like you would get a little more light to the bottom leaves, but I wouldn't go so far to say that it would greatly affect the yield. Of course, it would be pretty cool to see a plant slowly spinning . . .

For sure ..I get the feeling i would spend prolly too much time watching it turn :))

The fact i used a mother plant as an example and not flowering plants is that im really looking to keep her small and tight and clone from her ...so it was more about the wellbeing of the plant than anything else

Yeah looks like its gonna happen :) ... I picked up this machine at a carboot sale for pennys , The guy told me he used it to display his Bonzi at shows and stuff , Funny thing is ... Just a few days prior to getting it , I was having an out of the box moment :blsmoke: and was thinking of ways to get more light to a plant and the turntable come to mind , So when i seen it i decided i would give it a go ... Not got the the grow station ready yet but i will update this to show progress in the future :)

Not sure how to take this reply ... after reading a lot of your snippy comments here on the forum latley , I don't want to bring any bad vibe so i will just leave it at that ( Unless you want to talk it thru ? ) I joined the forum a short time ago with lots of questions & Answers and i enjoy answering them more than actualy asking thme ..as you can see if you look back on my post history .. So it was a big step for me to actaly ask ... But after all ... this is a forum to ask questions no ?
