Mother/Veg room light leaking ok?

Is it ok to have light leaks during the off times on 18/6 in a mother veg room? will this stress the plants maybe? Basically i have lights on 24/0 and id like to go to 18/6 to save a lil on electricity. Overall the room is very dark but i know there are leaks.

What kinds of leaks? A bright light shining on them? Or just through cracks? Some ambient lighting is okay but the darker the better.
