Mould due to Relative Humidity

Hey, found some mould on a plant in the room last week and finally got a hygrometer in that says RH is 55%. I think this could be the reason why mould formed on that plant.
Can you advise me on how to keep RH down? Or how to deal with mould?

Mold at 55% rh... didn't know that could happen with that low of rh. I have 3 cheap hygrometers and they all give different readings. If it really is anywhere near that low all you should need is more circulation of air.

yeah 55% RH + stagant air = possible mold growth, 55% RH + air moving all around = no mold ;)

Cool, I don't have a desk fan in there at the moment but definitely putting one in tomorrow! Hopefully it sorts it out!
