Mountain Growing in Central America

Well I'm back home, whew. I made it back and the airlines lost my luggage with the seeds in it.......damn it:evil: . They say they find 99% of them we will see. My babies are doing great, even the one the door fell on before I left. They are now 2 months old and their growth is unbelievable in my humble opinion. They have been fed a very light foliar feeding every 3 days. I guess the proof of their happiness is in the picture.
The big girls, Mary is now in her 4th week of flowering and not along as well as I hoped, but from bag seed you never know what you get. Mary is now over 8 feet tall though and is the shorter of the two but many more buds. Jane is now over 9 feet tall and looks like she started flowering while I was in the States. I have started yesterday feeding them a light foliar feed of 12-55-0 to encourage the flowers. If anyone has any suggestions on making Mary's Flowers bigger I would be happy to hear from you.
I also was able in the states to find rockwool and started 4 new babies yesterday in my new greenhouse..... yeah. My grounds keeper and I start cutting poles for the big greenhouse this week where I hope to have my new plants grow. More pictures this week, keep looking and once again suggestions and comments are welcomed.

The babies got a new flowering room yesterday, pictures to follow soon. The room is maybe 3 feet by 5 feet and 6 feet in height. The babies will now go to bed about 3 or 4 in the afternoon to force flowering, since we have only 15 minutes between the longest day and the shortest.
Mary and Jane are both coming along nicely, Mary's flowers have doubled in size since their feeding on Saturday. Once again pictures to follow today or tomorrow so stay tuned. The clones are finally after weeks of not wanting to root taking off. The little greenhouse has really made them happy. I keep it about 80 to 85 in the day and it seems to stay in the upper 60's at night.

Good morning from somewhere in Central America, the babies are looking very good this morning. Mary and Jane entering their 6th and 2nd week of flowering are both coming along nicely. Mary the longest flowering and most typical in growth pattern is busting a gut growing her buds. They both have been fed again this morning with foliar feed a 20-55-01 feed the numbers are close I know the middle is 55 and the N2 is 20 or 22 anyway they are reacting well to being fed every Saturday, they also are getting fed a very week mix of peters 2 times a week. I know that sounds like lots of feeding but it is very weak and I have used this method for many years and it works for me. I finally figured out how to resize pictures to upload properly now so I hope to have more pics in the journal instead of just in the gallery. Good Growing to all:joint:

I am starting to get excited now, Mary the longest flowering of the babies seems to be exploding into bud. I have been so pleased the past week with the rate of change, the height hasn't changed much but the flowers have enlarged greatly. I am so pleased with the growth pattern of Mary, classicial to say the least. I have only taken a few dying leaves off the plant and started 6 clones off of one of the bottom branches. So, nature has ruled the pattern of her growth unlike the heavily pruned and trimmed Jane (pictures to follow).
Also, yesterday Pretty Girl surrendered 27 clones:mrgreen: and doesn't seem fazed at all. This morning she is bright eyed and very alert if you will, I still have some trimming to do today to ensure proper airflow and light penetration for the next session.

The babies are doing well so far this week, after Pretty Girl gave up a total of 38 clones. She is starting to veg again after sitting pretty much without doing anything. Mary, the longest flowering is really starting to strut her stuff, pictures later, the buds are finally starting to fill out. I will add more pictures and updates on the clones later today.

Here are the pics I promised. Mary is the plant which is bent over and in the 6th week of flower. Mary is 9 ft as close as I can measure, maybe alittle taller. Jane is 9 and 1/2 feet tall and is in her 2nd week of flowering. Last but not least is a picture of Pretty Girl, she was pruned on Saturday and Sunday and is just now coming back. Pretty Girl has mothered 43 or 44 clones so far, I certainly am a proud papa

My first clones ever are now rooted and in 3 gallon buckets going into flower. I have had a terrible time with the cloning, but now that I have a small greenhouse the success rate is climbing. I now have 4 clones rooted 3 from Mary and one from Pretty Girl. Oh, by the way I have a little ritual if you will that I go through with my girls, I smoke their clipping with them. Well, today I couldn't stand it any more and I cut a nice bud off the back side of Mary. I quick dried it today and rolled on, I was happy with the results. I typically smoke my clippings, fan leaves in the early stages, harsh but a good indicator of how the baby will turn out. Anyway, getting ready to enter her 8th week of flower, I decided to taste, much better than the bag it came from. Thanks for reading and happy growing.:joint:

Hey all, I just took some new pics of Mary. She is producing at a good rate right now, I can literally see the change from day to day. Her fan leaves are rapidally changing from a deep green to a yellowish green and then yellow, they will be trimmed this afternoon. The pictures I post of Mary are a top to bottom taken in 2 pictures so you could see more detail of the plant. I also have 2 that show the whole girl, the one taken into the light to show the size and density of the buds. So far I am pleased, all comments and suggestions welcomed.

Well the picture freak that I am I just had to add some more pictures of Mary, when I abuse my space with pics let me know I love sharing. Mary is in her 8th week today and the pace of the flowering has quickened the past few days. Since, I am in a whole new place I don't know the time they should be at. She was planted in Jan and every day of her life outside. She started to flower before the 21st of June which I thought odd, but what the hell it is a healthy girl. Enjoy and Good Growing:joint: :joint:

It has been a slow week so far, but I have gotten some things done which were needed. Pretty Girl went from her 5 gallon container yesterday to a lovely spot next to Jane. I figured since she gave up so many babies to me and was smelling so good, that I would go ahead and let her flower. Really, I am just dying to smell her in flower, between Pretty Girl and Dreams I can smell them over 40 paces away right now. I sure wish I knew what strain they were, but skunky is skunky.
Pretty Girl and Jane continue to flower nicely. Jane enters her 4th week on Saturday and is progressing much faster than Pretty Girl was at the same point. Jane doesn't have as many bud formations as Mary but her buds appear that they will be larger, more pictures to follow.
The 4 clones that I have that went straight from rooting to flower stage are looking good. They are just yesterday starting to show signs of their sex. I have been reading in this forum about the totally dark room with no light bleeding in, but these girls have been outside all there life. Outside here is not totally dark, so it might take a few extra days to trigger the process but I am trying to provide as close to natural night as possible. I have to say that this past full moon, I guess being so close to the equator, I could see details across the property as well as I can at dusk. So, we will see if my room works for the outside. Come back on Saturday for the new pictures, I plan on showing the progress through pics of Mary and her flowering. Good Growing to All and Thanks for reading.
