Sorry wasn't saying it to be rude, I'm just really new at all of this and have went from a 150 watt to (2) 150 watt lights to the 600 and now I have the 1000 watt light so I just really need some help.

at the end of the day bro how bad do u want the tent/t5's???? thats the Q is it not.if u REALLY!!! want them them sell the 600 if your not to bothered keep it as back up or summin like the others said.me personally id get rid and get the tent/lights as i too could not afford to run a 1000 in flower and a 600 in veg.by the way that purp elephant looks killer bro well done.peace

What kind of outdated ballasts are you people using?
My 600 digitals only need 4.25 amps each max which is 8.5 for two.
If you run two 600s you'll not only get more lumens per square foot but you'll use less energy. Per watt a 600 gives out more lumens, fact.
The ONLY benefit of a 1000 over two 600s is if you have limited need for spread.

What are the sizes of your flower and veg rooms. Thats what's most important to decide what light is best. I'm not sure if you stated this yet or not but I didn't see it.

I want to use a flowering room about 5x5x8 that way I can use the closet with florescent lights for my mother and clones. I guess I'm just trhing to figure which is going to be the best to run, the 600 or the 1000.

Not unless u got money ur electricity bill is going to double I just took my 1000watter down after I got my last electric bill I would stay at 600 unless u can afford it
