moving from veg stage to flowering????

they have been under a 1000hps, pretty nice and bushy. i trim all the bottom leaves or leaves that shade other small leaves.DEFOLIATION really works yes!!!
they have been getting jacks 20.20.20 and roots.organics veg-nute. Dont really foliar feed because of powder mildew.
they are almost ready for their next feeding. my question is- should i feed some organic tea mixed with some roots.organics bloom nute.at a low dose, and keep the hps at 18/6? or change it that day to 12/12???

I would feed organic tea mixed with veg nutes, would not add bloom nutes at this stage and flip to 12/12 if your ready or happy to.
I usually feed a fairly high dose of nitrogen to help through the stretch then slowly introduce bloom nutes and low level of nitro at around 10 days or 2 week mark.

thanks gogsyc' makes sense. so this upcoming feed i should feed the tea, half a tablespoon of jaks 20.20.20 or more.?
and keep the hps at 18/6? or 12/12 ?

if your happy to flower now go for it flip to 12/12, yeah go with the tea and jaks, i dont know what mesuremnet half tblspoon is but what i feed usually on day i change to 12/12 is 5ml per litre of veg nutes when i do introduce bloom nutes i always give low dose maybe 1ml or 2ml veg nutes till i flush on the last week, keeps the plants nice an healthy looking right till the very end

oooo ic... so even in flowering stage you feed low % of veg nutes? do you belive the difference between flushing for a week or just flushing the last daY?

i'd switch to 12/12 then give em the tea..most plants take a week to transition to flower so u can actually wait a week but i feed right away..i use bud blood the 1st day of 12/12

funny u ask i'm actully in the middle of an experiment on flushing. i use organic nutes (bio bizz) so i belive flushing is not as important as with chemical nutes.
first time flushed for last 2 weeks.
second time one week.
at the monent i have 3 white widow drying were'nt flushed just plain water the last week.

What i have noticed is no bad tasting nutes anytime all bud burned cleanly.
one week flush buds were noticely bigger.
no flush buds looked about the same as one week flush
I have 6 kandy kush finishing in 2 weeks and plan on feeding right up to 3 days before harvest with no final flush

plants need less nutes. & more water the last few weeks to help ripen up..that's why alot of growers "flush" if you wanna call it that

really ? never heard that before, is this fact or opinon how did you find this out ?
i don't believe thats why alot of growers flush.

FACT..grow more and read up man, cannabis plants need more water then nutrients the last weeks..lots of water, ill find something u can read or watch that talks about it...give me a minute

Still waiting for that video man. i notice when i flush that the plants take far far longer to drink up the water
