Gday. Currently in week 5 growing indoors. Plan is to make the move outdoors in some coming weeks. Any info, do's and do nots, any tips you wish to share drop em here.

Currently have 4 babies 3gal fabric geopots, soils basic, med tec base nutes. Been topped once, started some LST to keep the canopy down. Few more weeks hopes to move up to 50L geo pots, research and make my own amended soil.

South Aussies that know the climate your knowledge is gold but everything taken into account.

I bought some steel mesh to make a cage cause i live in the ghetto, going down to suss shade cloth today theyll spend a week or so only getting sunlight through the shade cloth while they climatise.

Ph'ing is my next concern been told its not nessecary for outdoor plants do i ween them off ph'd water or just tap straight in?

If you have seriously acidic or alkaline soil you should correct the ph beforehand. Its not about where the plant grows but rather its about what the plant is growing in. If you’re doing an ammended mix. Let it cook and stabilise then take ph and adjust if needed. If you’re gonna do amended soil, start now, it’ll need at least a month to be perfect for planting (depending on the amendments you use)
And if you’re doing organic or any kind of natural farming with microbes phing is not necessary ime.
